I think who gets really not enough attention are Sudanese. It is maybe the bloodiest conflict, but gets very little attention, and civilians there get way too little help.

The truth about Ukraine, it’s serving the same purpose Afghanistan did, giving Moscow a black eye, a headache, a Vietnam War. Supporting Ukraine is more about hurting Russia than helping Ukraine, so that’s why NATO wants Kyiv to fight on because it’s doing a damn good job at giving Moscow a black eye, even more than the Mujahideen.

For the refugees, it’s cheap labour for states like Poland and Germany, etc. I doubt the refugees will even go back to Ukraine during peacetime since it’s not worth living in that country when there’s much better options. 20% of the Yugoslav War refugees didn’t go back, and those countries now, the young people are leaving in droves.

Russia really fucked Ukraine, what’s happening now are the horrors of war.

If Russia had taken over Ukraine, Russia would have enacted a policy of ethnic cleansing and colonisation, just like the Soviets did 100 years ago in Ukraine and the Baltics. It's naïve at best to think things would have been fine if only Ukraine had rolled over and accepted Russian rule.

West is divided on Gaza vs Israel issue but not (and dissenters are being placated as Russian bots/agents of influence) on Ukraine vs Russia issue.

Also, there is A LOT of very one-side information on Russia vs Ukraine issue. Pro-Ukraine one in West, Pro-Russian in Russia,etc

Olympic games demonstrated this perfectly. Russia athlets are only accepted as "independent" and with a lot of problems, Israeli ones - without any issue. Why?

That would end the war, and thus end all of the men being killed senselessly.

I understand the appeal of this John Lennon bullshit of "imagine there's no countries" but it's fantasy. The world has countries. Some countries invade other countries. I wish that both Russia and Ukraine ended gender discrimination in their military draft. But I do not wish that Ukraine simply rolled over and decided not to defend itself from Russian aggression.

ukrainians wouldn't have to fight (defend its own land, home & families) if russians didn't come armed to their land

Israel was fighting off terrorist neighbors for quite a long time, but currently it oversteps adequate limits of self defense involving truly innocent people

It's down to a few things:

First, the US's intelligence agencies are really good at working on misinformation from Russia and controlling Russian bots/trolls. Especially since they got caught with their pants down not doing their jobs during the 2016 election cycle. They are less good at doing the same with Israel and Palestine's incursions into our corners of the internet. A HUGE portion of the rabblerousers are people working for those governments trying to sway American public opinion. They are absolutely real people, but they are paid shills who are trying to direct the online discourse.

Second, Russia has been the cold war enemy of the US for 75 years. That doesn't evaporate overnight.

Third, figuring out who is in the wrong and who is in the right in Israel/Gaza/Palestine is actually quite difficult. Israel is a bear that has been poked one too many times and is swiping back. I don't like what they are doing, but I fully understand it. Also, I'm not so convinced that there is a large number of people in Gaza that do not support Hamas. Hamas is (or at least was) the legally elected government and they seem to still have quite a bit of support. If it was only a small group then surely Israel would have killed them all already, given how many people Israel has killed. No, their leaders live elsewhere then recruit from the sympathetic and destitute in Gaza. They may not all by sympathizers, but figuring out who isn't is nearly impossible. Israel's solution is going to be to kill them all. That's what a bear does when it is poked one too many times, it rears up and attacks and doesn't stop until anything remotely dangerous looking is dead and mutilated.
