You even see this trend in the r/childfree sub, like I don’t want kids, I feel pressure to have kids, but reading that sub, you’d think all men are massive misogynists who never have to deal with societal pressure, and expect all women to have kids. It seems reproductive rights only goes in one direction

This is an area that Men need to stand up, call our legislators, march in the streets and use the feminist playbook against them. Sadly, Men don't feel a need to, we have to go to work to provide for ourselves, take care of ourselves, provide for our families, our children, in some cases our parents & grandparents.

ONLY when Men stop working and start marching will that happen. I can't for the life of me figure out WHY Men aren't angry, pissed off, tired of it, and want the laws to change? Mass protest, Mass Capital takeovers, Mass walk offs, is the only way.

This is why pro-choice women aren't actually pro-choice. They don't want the father to have the ability to opt out of financially paying for the kid if they choose to keep the baby. It becomes a kid when a choice is given to the father otherwise it's a foetus if the choice is for the mother.

It's her body, her choice but not his body and his money. This is why I stop supporting the abortion crowd. They just don't want accountability on either pro-choice or pro-life. If she wants to keep the baby, the father is accountable, if she wants to abort, then the accountability is on the state to allow that in the form of "right".

The biggest beneficiary is BigPharma who gets to harvest the dead body tissues and organs to use them in their cosmetic products and surgeries. Of course they want women to keep supplying them dead bodies for free to the clinics.

i will say one thing and one thing only.

When the argument of why women shouldn't be sent to war and why they should be the first to be saved in rescue scenario the first thing that is taled about is their need to give birth.

When you think about it men in the western world are discriminated against on the basis that it is their biological responsibility as the stronger sex that invests less physically into child birth to be disposable in every sense on all levels as large scale as war and as small scale a household where the woman cheats on a man in marriage and forces him to raise a child that isn't his.

Yet the moment it is suggested that women who don't fulfill their biological responsibility of giving birth it is seen as an outragest possibility.

The daily reality of men is considered dystopian for women yet we are the ones who are said to be the oppressors privilege is truly invisible to those who have it.

Close but no cigar. The child has a right to life. If no the Mother needs to end the pregnancy to save their life, the medical staff has the responsibility to save the child’s life whenever possible.

Abortion is about a persons choice over what’s happening inside of their own body. Childbirth is life threatening, and at the very least leads to the mother’s body being permanently and painfully damaged and disfigured. No one is forcing men to give birth.

And child support isn’t gendered. Women also have to pay it if the father is the primary caretaker. There’s nothing unequal about that. It’s not like men are paying pregnant women’s medical bills. All they have to do is pay for born children, the same way women do.

I agree that it’s not ideal for a man to have to take responsibility for a child he never wanted and was possibly tricked into having, but I don’t see a way of changing that without causing bigger issues. An example being that roughly 50% of people have deep religious/moral convictions that forbid them from getting an abortion in the first place. Those women would be stuck with full responsibility for the children because they see it as literal murder to abort. Men with the same values would be free to walk out on their children, even though they themselves would accuse the woman of first degree murder if she got the abortion. I’m pro choice myself, but the reality is that many people never even consider abortion as an option to begin with.
