Gynocentrism is so deeply ingrained in this dumb fucking society that when people see a man being forced to go to war, work, provide and protect and then a woman staying comfy at home doing nothing while her husband brings her money like he's a slave, almost ALL of them will do some fucked up mental gymnastics to arrive at the conclusion that the prvileged one is the man and the opressed one is the woman. Seeing everyone deny something as evident as this is fucking desperating.

The article is worth reading however there's something I'd like to point out.

Society was always ginocentric, therefore all the roles the author pointed out were meant to, overall, benefit women.

All those "oppressive" roles women had to face were actually beneficial in THAT HISTORICAL MOMENT.

This is why at the very moment the material conditions changed (for example we transitioned from the industrial age where "work" meant working 16h per day in a factory inhaling toxic steam and getting lung cancer when you get old to the modern economic age based on tertiary where work is much more comfortable and less dangerous) society updated women's role to fit to the new material conditions. Another example is the anticoncep pill, feminism claim that the creation of the anticoncep pill was the backbone of the female sexual revolution. Which is just stupid. If society didn't want to women to have any kind of free sexual life, society would have just banned the anticoncep pill in the first place. Society didn't do so, because society always wanted women to be as free as possible, mean while men still don't have any type of reproductive right whatsoever, no matter how much we ask for it (paper abortion)

If society wanted to oppress women just for the shake of doing it, now women would still have all the restrictions they had. Society would had told them: "SHUT UP BITCH" slapped them in the face and threw them away. (Which is btw what we as men are told anytime we try to speak up for our rights)

Society was always willing to provide protection and care to women, and that means women stand in a much better social position than men. Anytime women face any disadvantage or issue, society is willing to fix it. This is not the case for men. Because when it comes to men, that willingness doesn't exist, and that's why women who were born in the same year than you have rights that you don't have.

Gynocentrism stems from the biological reality that women are the bottleneck for reproduction. This applies to all animal species as well. Any species or group that fails to prioritize the well-being of females struggles to reproduce effectively. As a man, I understand the societies tendency to be gynocentric; however, what bothers me is the feminist mentality to adopt victim mindset while simultaneously benefiting from the privileges associated with being female.

It’s basically this. They are favored because they are on average physically vulnerable. Men are not favored because they are on average not physically vulnerable. They basically carry the same value as a child. We can science this all day but the basics is they are the “children” “we” need to protect, hence the global patience with sometimes more life threatening behavior (hitting people with bowling balls, stabbing, bagging heads to concrete, etc.). It’s when the context of sex gets thrown in is when weird shit starts popping off. Think of it (and this will sound “misogynistic” but it not cap) kinda like your the father to a child. They scream, “it’s a child”. They complain, “it’s a child”. They say they are oppressed, “it’s just a child, they don’t get it”. That’s all. For what it’s worth, both men and women are just and good and completely shitty equally, we all just focus on the shitty more.
