Usually there is some kind of tension between you and the girl before you just walk up to her.

For example I was at the bar last week and some guy shoved this girl while walking past her. I was just standing there and saw it happen and we locked eyes. I smiled and made a fake punching gesture towards the guy and made her laugh.

You really have to be in a fun headspace to take the opportunities that you come across.

You might not have caught everything that happened in those situations.

I've done things like this and I've said things like, "I just came over to tell you to stop staring at me like I'm a piece of meat."

That's delivered playfully btw. Hopefully no keyboard warrior comes up with a very inaccurate image of how that went down.

But anyway, a line like that only worked because she was in fact periodically staring at me from a distance before I came over to approach her. That communication before the approach may have been the part that you didn't notice with the other guys.

Its not necessarily about being funny the way a comedian would be funny either. Sexual tension can cause women to giggle and laugh.

And for a woman, if she sees the guy she's been checking out walking over to her, sexual tension will definitely build up for her, and even a mildly witty line can be enough to cause her to break.

I’m that dude.

I’m at most a 7 on a good day. But a couple of guys at work always ask me what I say and how to do it that they keep seeing girls flock to me. I can’t really tell them what to say. To me it’s very situational. You don’t memorize a (pickup) line, you don’t plan it.

Like this morning there’s this girl in a cafeteria quietly chewing her food while standing. I snuck up behind her and whispered “you better slow down or I’d have to do a heimlich maneuver on you.”

She just burst out laughing with her face turned red then she had to hold my arm so she won’t fall. Mind you, I don’t talk to her often, she’s not in my inner circle. It wasn’t even that funny. Or maybe right after I said that she imagined the picture of me hugging her from behind and the food jump out of her mouth.

But when I saw her again later on she told some guys who were with her what I had said to her earlier. She was the only one laughing after telling them what happened and they were just smiling. I just shrugged my shoulders. One of the guys has a crush on her. So I just left them alone as I saw his face didn’t look too happy.

lol i've done this before and some guy i was with would be like "what did you say??". what you say isn't really that important, how you say it matters more. i usually hate this question because often it's coming from the perspective of thievery where guys just want to copy what other men are doing rather than coming up with their own ideas, that's how you ended up in a situation where puas were all spamming "did you see the fight outside?" or "who lies more men or women?"

i dont cold approach any more, those days are long behind me and tbh i hate pua so i dont mind telling you what i would say. sometimes it would be situational, i'd see a couple girls in the middle of the dance floor just talking to each other looking bored and i'd go over to one and say "hey, you see those two over there?" (pointing towards a guy and a girl)..."what do you think the odds are that he ends up going home with her tonight? like on a scale of one to ten?". tbh that's almost direct but not really, just a weird ice breaker. sometimes i'd go up to a girl and be like "if you had to guess, what guy in here do you think has the smallest dick?" and they'd usually either point to a guy they dont like or shit test me with "idk, you?" and then i'd laugh and be like "naw, def not me". idk, these are pretty direct and not going to work if you're not at least backing them up with something else. indirect in my pua times would just be something about like asking for a smoke or a lighter, and being like "hey, what's your name?...()... if i could grab a couple smokes i'll buy you a beer or a shot", tbh i dont even remember what i would use as openers or what i would say, i haven't done cold approach in many years. usually situational or random comments or opinion openers, its like swimming just jump in and try it.

Your entire framework here is wrong and I'm surprised no-one has pointed this out yet.

Looking at people who are very good at a skill and trying to figure out what their "secret" is isn't how you break into developing a skill. It will always destroy your motivation because the chasm between where you are and these guys are is way too big.

What you need to do is practice regularly and get steadily better at the skill, and compare yourself to yourself in the past, not to anyone else.

I believe it comes with lots of experience, but obviously there are guys that can get to understand the game much faster than others. These are not only words, your voice tone, body language, smell, smile, everything is coming together to get into girl’s heart and sexual desire. If you feel you are at your peak with high energy and chill, it all feels easy and pleasant.

We’ve all seen it. Them guys who shoot their shot with a girl. They see the opportunity, walk right over and whisper something in their ear and have the girl giggling like no tomorrow. What TF are they saying?

What they are "saying" does not matter. Its the vibe they give off. You can have the most interesting thing to say, but have shit delivery. You can deliver the most boring thing ever in an exciting way.

How does someone make a person laugh so much with one comment when they don’t even know each other like wtf. I can be considered a witty person be a lot of people, but this one is really something I can’t figure out.

Stop focussing on other people, start focussing on improving your delivery.

A lot of peoples advice with women, is that if you just go and talk to a woman and she’s interested in you, the conversation will flow smoothly as she will make it easy for you.

Depends on your internal representation of yourself. Is your inner game sorted? Do you actually 100% believe you are attractive and worthy of connection?

Like lets say I was going to star in a movie as you. In this movie I had to approach a woman. How would I become you? What would I tell myself, what movie would I play in my head? What would I belive, what would I feel? Tell me, I want to be you and see the world as you see it.

However I don’t know if this is the truth, because there’s a lot of not particularly good looking guys who do great with women, purely due to their charisma and charm.

Anyone can work on charisma + charm + self belief. They should be doing that as well as the gym and healthy eating. But if your a boring fuck, the minute you open your mouth, they will be bored, no matter your gainz.

They won’t be going up to a girl and just starting a generic conversation, they’ll be saying something a lot more advanced than that, otherwise the woman would shut them off immediately. Is this skill something that can be built or are you just born with it? Can any of you guys give examples of times you made a girl laugh who you didn’t know?

I can not break down what I did or how. I have just practiced delivery a lot. Its about pausing, tonality and building tension.

Even if I type out a recent example, its actually quite boring, it was the delivery that made it what it was.

You see them and click click formulate something. It has to be quick, relevent, you need delivery, usually practiced like a stand up guy. It has to be just for her. You practice jokes in your head just walking down the street. Maybe not relevent but silly or outrageous. Make something up. I once said into a girl's ear as she was eating her martini olive "it's not how you cook - - it's how you PEEL"

What everyone is not understanding with op’s question is the fact that humans learn best from example. If you would give op 10 examples he would learn more than 100 paragraphs of explanation.

I would give him those examples if i knew it myself but im not yet there. All i see here is people who know some basics but don’t actually know what to say say in these situations (apart from very few who actually gave examples)

And to say that “it matters how you say is more important than what you say…” how can you be confident in what you’re saying if you have no idea what to say, think people. You need to learn how to walk before learning how to run
