By flirting. Women shit test dudes all the time, but guys forget they can "test" women too. You tease (lightly bully/challenge) and flirt/slip sexual innuendos anytime you want. If she's receptive, you know she'll be down.

Make sure you both're having fun tho, things are easy going, the vibes are good, and she's feeling a range of emotions with you. She might be into it but if you cant give women that rollercoaster of emotions, it'll still be difficult.

If she calls you a perv or starts getting mad, you simply move on quickly/quietly. Dont give her anymore attention.

Big thing is physical touch and how much eye contact you give. Framework and sexual tension are the two tests to actually see if anyone is down for that type of behavior. Don't think about it like will she "let you"—think about do you WANT to? Especially since you're saying you two aren't even that close to begin with. In that case you don't have a whole lot to lose by making a move.
