Your age doesn’t really matter tbh. Any “rules” a girl has can be broken for the right guy, unless it’s something deeply ingrained and they have some trauma from it. I think you should play into being a younger a guy and the type of guy you are. No need to lie especially if it’s a minor like 23 and 27. In her eyes you’re still considerably younger.

23 (M) here. Dating a 50 (F) and her birthday is in a few days. We’ve been seeing each-other since Oct. 2024.

We had sex a few times at first, then she started to be distant. I sat down and asked if she thought age was an issue for her. I asked her hold old she was. Then I told her what I thought her age was. I asked her what she thought my age was. We revealed the truth after.

Since then I’ve required a lot of honesty from her, helped her adopt a vegan lifestyle, and worked through her trauma. She might move out of state to live with me in TX since I recently left CA for school reasons.

Nowadays, I play into the age thing so we can be more honest about our sexual pull and unique attraction towards each-other. Never did either of us imagine we would have a somewhat vital attraction to the other, but here we are. She’s told her daughter (25) about us. She’s told her 80yo parents about us as well as her friends. She’s taken a lot of effort to demonstrate commitment to the life she wants.

Idk if this is the response you wanted. The sex is lovely. When we met, it was pure, playful, and exciting. It had little to do with the dry flirting of today.

I’ve learned lots from this relationship about myself and the expectations I’ve set for people my age. I’m usually disappointed by my own generation for a number of reasons— namely being lack of real self-development.

I personally really dislike lying, not necessarily because of morals but more because I'm too proud to be lying about my age. I'm 23 and me going out with a cougar is something that other guys can only dream about, and I want the woman to know how old I am. I want her to know that a younger guy like me is not afraid of gaming her.

Anyway, If you want to lie it's up to you but IMO. you don't have to. If a woman calls you out on your age you can say:

"How old you want me to be?"

"I feel like 30 but I'm younger"

"I will tell you but later. First you need to get to know me better, I only tell this the people I like 😉"

If she tells you you're too young:

"Are you worried you won't be able to keep up with my age/energy?"

"It sounds like you already imagined a relationship with me, which I think is cute but I barely know about you and I don't know If I can imagine myself with you. We need to take things slower 😉"

You have to have some sense of your own moral code / ethics.

We cannot tell you what moral / ethics code to have. But I can tell you that most people think that lying about your age is wrong. If these women find out you lied about your age, they are likely to feel hurt. And this means your lying has the potential to cause psychological harm.

Do you think it's okay to cause psychological harm to other people, and reduce these women's trust in men, just so that you can have sex?
