In Poland I once listened a podcast how wife who escaped from Ukraine and her husbamd conscrupted and at front complained that actually she has worse because she thinks everyday about husband and her mental health suffers and she is real victim

Honestly I don't imagine very many neighboring countries that would actually let you hide there. It's better to randomly select a place for a bugout. Of course there is always a chance you will be found especially with whatever footprints (especially digital) you leave but you can reduce probability and try not to be obvious and easy pickings that they can also sensationalize as "the ones that try to get away get caught."

Time to be the voice of reason and logic.

In general men are physically stronger than women and will typically be less panicked when shit goes wrong. This makes this good for warfare.
There will always be more sympathy for women due to culture.
A prolonged war is bad for everyone. Russian men are conscripted to fight on the front lines and Ukrainians are conscripted as well.
Sometimes you just die in life.

My point is war sucks, but sometimes you just fight and die. This post is worthless.
