I'm not sure why are you bringing up incels, when they don't have wife or kids.

And again I know this is gonna get a lot of hate but men don’t understand the hard work women have to put in in this day and age. At the end of the day women are expected to be strong and independent but also gentle and nurturing

So yea I think out of everything men need to strive to be higher earners and that’s it.

I make well above the national average in terms of income. I bet I can cook better than the majority of women I meet since it's a hobby of mine and I like to challenge myself so I'd probably be doing the cooking. And I know I would be spending time taking care of the kids because it would be my duty as a father to do that. The thought that a woman I'd be in a relationship would be doing much more than me is ludicrous.

The problem is as I'm seeing it, if these are the men you are picking that make you feel this way, find men that have these traits you want.

First, I think "beauty standards" are not really social. They are (mostly) objective and biological despite slight regional or generational differences. Nor are they imposed by anyone. It's similar to women who innately like tall men, etc. Biology is a big driver (despite how uncomfortable that makes modern society).

Second, most men are not going to be 'high earners'. By definition, it is going to be an elite in very specific industries or hierarchies. It also can take decades to reach that high earning status. Having two earners with median incomes can help here to facilitate a decent, less stressful life, etc. But yes, men should help out more around the house and be more empathetic. I agree.

And there is no requirement for women to be 'strong and independent'. That was a conscious choice from the second wave feminist movement. Life is about trade-offs (Men don't get to have-it-all either!). For example, traditional women often sacrifice careers, working men sacrifice seeing their children, independent women sacrifice marriage, etc. It will different for each person, their goals and values.

I do agree, however, with the 'stuff' women have to go through and put up with is tough and (often) unfair.
