I (39M) officially ended my 5 years old wedding with my now ex wife (38F), and this will be my last message on this group trying to cheer up and motivate decent men who were in my situation meaning discovering infidelity from the woman they loved and made kids with (we have a 4 years old boy).

I feel both liberated and sad, my downfall started 2 and a half years ago when she all of a sudden changed and started hanging out with colleagues etc..

Long story short, I discovered she had an affair with her older 58 years old MARRIED boss while gaslighting me and feeding me all kind of lies and non sense bs!!

My advice to everyone is LEAVE if you smell something is not alright, if you notice a change of behavior towards you and your kid all of a sudden, if she changes habits/lengerie and you didn't give her any SERIOUS reason to act like this (violence/cheating), so if you were a decent husband/father and sure you made some mistakes but had an intuition something is off....well, believe your gut feeling and leave!!!

You will only save yourself and your kids time and stress, going back in time I should have left start 2023 when I noticed all of a sudden she became more social and gym and distant towards me, only months before she was very jealous and loving to do family stuff!!

Do not believe to any gaslighting, do not let her blame you for your faults, and in my opinion do not waste time on therapy, best therapy is love and communication!

I feel both sad (11 years together) and both liberated because she was initially the love of my life, I adored this woman and gave up everything to be with her only ending backstabbed and cheated on!!
