In this case specifically, because the fraud was in his name, despite the company being in both their names.. He was the one who pretended to have an architecture licence he didn't actually have. She was sentenced as an accessory to the fraud because she was aware of it, co-owner of the company and didn't report it.

Just saw this today and wanted to comment. My daughter and hers used to go to daycare together and I got to know her at a birthday party and she shared her contact info with me etc...I am a loan officer she is a realtor if i was somehow involved in even one fraudulent mortgage case even if it was fraud for housing meaning I just wanted to help a family get a home they didnt qualify for id be looking at up to 30 years in federal Prison. So the fact that she is looking at only 5 as a licensed realtor pissses me off she absolutely knows better. Its BS.

I think he probably committed more of the fraud that can be proven in writing. Now that's likely because he was "taking the lead" here. He was the one who was able to fake being an architect. We'll never know in actuality who was in charge. Could have been either of them.

They love the phrase "behind every great man is a great woman". Not true of course, but also happily ignoring the fact that this implies "behind every terrible man is a terrible woman". Not a problem for them of course, since women are incapable of doing bad things and are only led into doing them by evil men.

In general, if you're going to do fraud and fuck people over don't do it to rich people lol. It was only a matter of time before one of them hired a private Investigator like what happened or one of the lawsuits uncovered what had really gone on.
