That last paragraph went off the rails but true. People of all genders be ugly. Men are just dirty and unkempt a lot so that adds to the ugly. I’ve been on too many dates where it’s a fit guy with a nice face that has too much tarter built up on his teeth, B.O., or stains on his clothes.

There’s more pressure on women to be presentable even when we aren’t genetically blessed. That’s why attractiveness isn’t solely about what you’re born with. It’s grooming, maintenance, confidence and charisma too.

Never heard anyone claim men don't look good. It's just the MAJORITY of them are underwhelming looking in comparison to the very small minority of men who are attractive.

Per every attractive guy there are thousands of attractive women.

On the base/genetic level, I don't think women are more attractive than men. It's equal.

That said, I do think there are more attractive women than men out there for a number of reasons.

1) Women tend to take better care of themselves, especially when it comes to grooming and hygiene 2) Women use makeup drastically more than men do 3) Women get cosmetic surgery drastically more than men do 4) Women are more into fashion and are better styled/dressed/accessorised 5) Women don't need to be physically fit (muscularity) to be very attractive, usually being thin is enough. Whereas men suffer a lot in terms of attraction if they're not physically fit and only thin.

99% of female beauty is deception - you can fake it with fake-up, extensions, surgeries, cosmetic procedures, clothing - all lies for which men are mocked if they try to use them as well.

99% of male beauty is nature - you either got it or you don't.

? modeling isn’t the same as attractiveness though. It’s about height, strikingness, and angularity, obviously men are more likely to have those. It’s an aspect of attractiveness but women don’t need to have those in order to be beautiful

It is an extension of "women are wonderful" .. main stream has to see men as unattractive compared to women because then men are more grateful for each crumb that is metered out to them. Men think that "this is the best I'll ever get" .. it is to prevent men from leaving the one they have. "One in the hand worth 2 in the bush"
