By facing rejection and bad feelings eventually you manage to self correct after a setback. Personally, I don’t think it is possible to avoid hard feelings altogether.

It takes a lot of self talk beforehand, before you even go out. It's a lot easier to do when you're not in the moment so practice even before you plan to go out reminding yourself that it's not about the results at all. Set yourself an achievable goal such as just taking the first step and initiating some contact. If you do that then you haven't failed

Just like talking with other people, you gotta enjoy it. Sometimes you find girls that surprise you genuinely like where she works at, or even simply her name.

When I got positive reinforcements or good reciprocation, I try not to get them too deep into my head, by thinking that they’re probably just nice people. Not because it was me who they’re attracted to.

By doing this when something the other way around happens (aka rejection), I just take it that they are just grumpy or having some issues at the moment so I don’t feel down.

You fully can’t. But you can certainly not make it as bad by approaching more. But the thing I’ve realized after facing decade plus of constant rejection is that we all need a yes in our life. We need positive reinforcement with our romantic life. This whole love the process thing is bullshit. We say it to help us cope when we fail yet it doesn’t help at all.

I do two things to not worry about the results 1. Do not associate with whatever happens (if she s*cks your d1ck or slaps you in the face) that doesn’t change who you are. 2. Consistency, I have had bad nights but also good nights so I have to keep going and not let one interaction define my journey.
