I don't know man, If I'm going to help someone I'm just going to help them.

I'm not helping because they're a woman, I'm helping because they're stuck and in trouble.

I've stopped to make sure guys are ok too before. Oddly enough one of my ex girlfriends got annoyed with me when I stopped on the highway to help an older guy put on a spare tire. Her annoyance that I inconvenienced her by stopping wasn't the sole reason for breaking up, but it was one of those things that added up over time to make me realize she wasn't someone I wanted to be with long term.

Help people who need it because it's the right thing to do.

Feel like this isn’t worded great but im terms of helping people it kinda depends. I keep to myself mostly but sometimes I help people out for small things like they dropped something or ask what the time is or something. But shoveling seems like a bit much. They can do that themselves

If women are good to men then they deserve to be treated good. If women are hateful or bad to men they deserve to be treated just the same.

Don't reward or give hate filled people your attention or service.

The way you make the world better for everyone is to put accountability to there actions.

Men have much more harsh accountability when men get out of line and the same must happen.

So reward good behaviors punish bad behaviors and its simple as treating bad people just as bad as they treat others easy.

But I don't help people that I know that would keep on driving if I needed help. And its in many ways easy to see when people would ignore you of you are in problem.

Cause I geass plenty of men know people that would only call or hear of some people that need something from you so thing many people have a radar for people like that. So most people know the kind of people that are like that so if you know they would not help you don't help them.

If a society does not push burden of performance on both sides reject it just like women do it all the time.

Feminism no gender roles for women. Don't follow your gender roles if it does not benefit you in any way.

Treat women like they treat men.

I wish we had an app where you could just ask her name and it would scan for all social media posts and find anything about "choosing the bear" or "we don't need men" etc. Maybe give a misandry rating out of 10.

If that rating is low then yes I'll freely give that stranger my time and labour to help her out of danger like a good man should. I'm the kind of guy that stops and helps, done it many times.

If that rating shows she is one of those who thinks we should all be castrated at birth or it's fine to cheat on a "starter husband" then quite frankly she is a terrible person who doesn't deserve my help.

Last thought - Do we think that women should or would help men they know to be misogynistic? Would a woman stop to help a man in the snow if she knew he had made horrible misogynistic statements about women?

I can see where you're coming from, but it's a pretty jaded view.

I was in a car wreck and was in shock. Men and women that didn't even know me came out to help. No one asked me how I felt about women.

If I see someone stuck and I'm able to help, I probably will. Man or woman, or however they identify doesn't matter to me. The only thing that would make me abandon them like that is if someone else showed up to help, or they were being rude to me.

If I'm actively helping and a woman degrades men, I'll tell them good luck and walk away. But if they treat me with basic respect (and I don't mean ass-kissing), I will help.

There are times people have to put their differences aside, especially when those differences are just projections of differences.

I disagree. We as individuals are supposed to help for the sake of helping a fellow human being. Not helping only those who pass our moral test. Having said that, helping a total stranger isn’t a duty. Especially when there are safety concerns.

I’d like to think I’m better than those women who generalize men based on the worst examples. We don’t have to see them as friends by default, but we also don’t have to see them as enemies either. I care about myself too much to let them dictate my feelings and views on other people.

Yeah, I get where you're coming from, but that seems like a bad take.

I would still always argue for helping those in need, no string attached. You might even help dispell some stereotypes and change a mind or two along the way.

However, it might actually be useful to be careful while helping out. As always, don't put yourself in any situation which might be used against you.
