The obvious answer is your dad, wait till youre 18 and leave, your family hates men, telling you that men are generally x y z, or telling you a servant with your mom doing nothing, its a clear sign that they hate the existence of men, probably thats the reason your parents divorced also.

I get in debates with my older sister about things pertaining the difference between men and women you know who has it harder but before i even start im hit with oh "periods" which is not our fault and shes like well men raise the prices of womens stuff pads are expensive even womens razors are more expensive than mens because of the "pink tax"

I dont think these discussions will amount to much but I do have two questions for your sister.

Does she blame or resent men for women getting periods or men not getting periods?

Does she think men as a collective raise prices on womens products as in there are no economic factors at play?

Please ask her.

If anything with lower and sometimes no sales tax on particular feminine products men (collective) are subsidizing women.

Your mother will take your sister's side no matter what. If all they can do is worship at the altar of an AI chatbot then there is no reasoning. You can't reason with what isn't there. Best comeback is just 'whatever' and ignore them. They sound insecure and needy, best not to engage.

Work out what you can do to be out at 18 (probably military or college) and just don't go back.

But work on that escape plan!

Get a job, get a bank account, and start saving. The next few years will be rough but believe me they will be a distant memory one day and in reality it's your adult life that matters.

Comebacks don't matter. This is high school level drama but it comes from a position of power over you (your parent). That makes it serious.

Don't burn bridges. Don't have tantrums. And don't escalate because it's emotionally satisfying.

Be civil but firm. Just state the facts. I'm your brother/son, not your servant/whatever insult.

Your sisters will say a lot of stupid shit no doubt, most of it won't be worth responding to.

Your mother is the real problem because she's in a position to abuse you with near impunity. Don't give her ammunition. Be above reproach and open to improvement/reconciliation (obviously I don't know how bad it really is).

Personally, I left when I was 17 and I don't speak to my mother. She's dead to me. But it doesn't have to be a self fulfilling prophecy. Hopefully it's not that bad.

Don't tolerate abuse. But that doesn't mean lashing out. It is a complicated difficult line to walk especially at such young age and I don't want to give you bad advice by suggesting harsher action than necessary. I do worry that I am projecting my own experience and that maybe things aren't as bad for you.

However this sort of thing is becoming much more common and I do see it all time. Be prepared to support yourself at 18 because if you're not then you will start your adult life under her thumb. And in any case self-sufficiency and independence are always a good thing even if you do have good healthy familial relationships.

Listen. You won't ever win a debate against a single woman who's been brainwashed let alone an army of them. Don't waste your breath. When a woman has determined she's right, all debating will do is change how "right" she think she is, more or less depending on your points. But at the end of the day the best result you'll get is that in her mind she'll still be right just less so. Just concentrate on building yourself up.

Get a license and save money for a bike (cheaper to run and own than a car but you can always gun it for a car too).

Open a bank account and save money and don't let anyone not even your mum or dad have access to it.

Slam the books and get some good grades. Don't sacrifice your revision and homework time for anyone else.

Be the house workhorse for now. Yes I know it sucks but the long term gain is that you'll be more independent at least. It's only a few more years.

Get some good friends. Guys your age that think alike.

Learn to fight. Go sign up to a boxing / wrestling / mma gym. This is important for any young man no matter what.

Get 8 hours of sleep each night.

Was raised by females only. Mom, no father, Grandma, Sisters.

Can only advice to move out as soon as you are able to. Dont be afraid to cut off any contacts with crappy relatives. Remember: You owe your parents and relatives absolutely nothing if they are not nice to you! They brought you into this world because they had unprotected sex and you never asked for it in the first place.

Also remember: Your relatives are only your relatives because you share "similar" genetics with them and have the same ancestors.

In my family, all males ended up becoming alcoholics, commited suicide or are psychiatry while all females had nice houses and good jobs. I am the only exception because I was lucky to get away as early as possible

You are being abused by your mother and sisters man. This is emotional and physical abuse. You should see if you can stay with your dad. You in most states are old enough to decide who you live with and old enough to not be a real burden as far as childcare goes.

Edit.. I would go no contact as well asap with your mom. She clearly hates men or at least your dad and you as a person that probably reminds her of your dad since you look like him more than your sisters.

Can't help you on everything but here's something:

About hitting women. The rule goes both ways. If they insist you can't hit a woman and don't apply the same rule back ask them if it's alright for a woman to hit a man who is a paraplegic, can't move his arms or legs and can't hit back to defend himself. Ask if it's wrong for a woman to hit someone like that who can't hit back to defend themselves. If they say yes it's okay, you are living with terrible sexually biased people and at least you will know they are sexists nutcases who will never be fair with you. Just take it quietly until the day you are old enough to get out of the house and can be treated as the equal human being you are. But if, like most people, they are sane enough to admit it would be wrong to hit someone like that who is defenceless to fight back, clarify, "So you agree hitting someone like a paraplegic who is paralyzed and can't defend himself by fighting back is wrong?". Get them to agree again. Then say, "Good! Then you agree it's wrong to hit a person who's defenceless and isn't able to hit back. Because if I can't women hit back, I'm as defenseless as the paraplegic against a women. It doesn't matter of paralysis prevents me or custom, I'm just as defenseless either way and hitting me is just as wrong. But if you hit them anyway, all bets are off. You can't hit them if they can't hit you either. It still works both ways.

About women being more likely to be raped. That's a manufactured fallacy. When women rape men it is called FTP. We have different anatomy so it's done differently. The definition of rape used in statistics typically DEFINES rape as the way men do it to a woman victim and the way women do it to their victims isn't included in the definition, so the vast majority of males who are raped don't qualify to be included because of that gender-biased male-exclusionary DEFINITION that excludes women rapists and most male victims from being ever counted in statistics.

Male victims of FTP suffer identical trauma, suffer identical psychological pain, suffer identical psychological symptoms, require the identical therapy, are damaged psychologically identically to women who are raped. If all the pain and suffering and psychological harm they experience is identical to a woman being raped, it's rape, whatever you want to call it.

Whan FTP is counted as rape, it's revealed that in a given year, for every 1.270 million women reported raped, 1.267 million men are reported as well (and because men report even less on average than women do, the ACTUAL numbers are at the very least identical). So, in REALITY, men are raped as often as women in this country, but the clever DEFINITION used hides their rapes ON PAPER, but they very much happen in reality. The last thing to note is that 80% of men who are raped are raped by women (79.2% to be precise).

If men make up half of all rape victims and 80% of their rapists are women, women make of 40% of all rapists. But the existence of 40% of rapists (the 40% made up entirely of women) are hidden from being reported in rape statistics by this gender-biased male-exclusionary DEFINITION being used. They're literally erased from existence ON PAPER, but the more than a million men they sexually assault every year still suffer those sexual assaults whether they're included in the statistics or not. You can find them listed in the CDC statistics under FTP (forced TO penetrate) instead of being called rapes because the DEFINITION of rape they use excludes the way it's usually done to men.

Even though women commit 40% of all rapes in this country, women are only ever charged 1-2% as often as male sexual assaulters are charged. If you rape a man, even if he reports it, you have only a 1-2% chance of being prosecuted compared to a man who commits rape against a woman.

If you want a few other ways men are discriminated against. Men are given 60% longer prison sentences on average than women for the identical crimes. Identical crimes, identical guilt, identical harm to victims, if the woman gets 4 years, men are given 10 years for the same thing. Men are more often prosecuted for the same crime than women too. The law is far more lenient to women than men.

I'm time of war, 98% of Americans who die in war are men. Men are drafted, their civil rights are taken away, they become slaves of the state and must do whatever the state tells them to without refusal. They must march into enemy machine gun fire and if they refuse, they can be shot for that. Men must remain slaves of the state for years until the state chooses to give them back their freedom. Women never have to worry about THAT.

About feminine products costing. That's wrong. But the everage man isn't responsible for that. Only some greedy corporation. If it's an issue, I wonder why hasn't a woman started a company that sells feminine products at more affordable prices? You would think they would make a lot of money.

Men pay expenses women don't and the DIRECT responsibility goes to the average woman, not some faceless corporations. It's the "male dating tax". Men are expected to pay for dates. You can ask her to split the bill but you'll likely never get a second date if you do. So WE have to pay. Women don't give us any other choice. When you get older and have joined the work force, women will want NICE dates. And they'll judge you on how much you spend. 2 dates a week at $200 A date equals $18,000 a year! Even if you spend less it's going to be $10,000 a year or there abouts. Women don't spend $10,000 a year on feminine products! The scale tips in mens favor. And the average man has NOTHING to do with the money women have to spend on feminine products. Men spend more on dating and the average women are the ones who themselves directly enforce it on men. They are DIRECTLY responsible while men are not directly responsible for women's expense. Those are a few pointers to use against their arguments. But when it comes to who has an easier life, the book "Self Made Man" by Nora Vincent should convince them otherwise. She was a lesbian feminists who also believed men had easier lives. To prove it she masqueraded as a man named Ned and lived as a man for 18 months (and looked convincing too). Work, friends, dates with women, she lived as a man day after day.

After 18 months her opinion was that women have it no harder, that men have it no easier, men have it every bit as hard as women, yet because men's and women's lives are hard in such different ways, and they both have equal but DIFFERENT difficulties, and those differences are why the other gender doesn't see them. Men and women suffer equally, but suffer over different things.

And she, who had previously believed women were better, more benevolent people than men, said she'd never known how truly "nasty" women could be until she interfaced with them as a man for the first time. That was a real education!

You can tell them that a woman who lived as a man and knows a heck of a lot more about it than they ever will says men don't have it any easier at all. That life is EQUALLY tough for BOTH genders. Neither one has it any easier than the other.

No one should be looking at the victimhood between innate-trait demographics as a competition… as a hierarchy on which to deem one demographic better or worse than the other. What is within each demographic are individuals with diverse lived experiences. Individuals who probably need—if not deserve—understanding, support, compassion, comradery.

It doesn't even matter if there are 99% evil, violent, irredeemable members of that demographic on planet Earth—the respectable and benign 1% of that demographic should never be held responsible to pay reparations or penances or punishments on behalf of the individuals who committed the evils. To round an entire demographic that is based on their innate traits (sex, race, etc.) to bear responsibility for the evils of individuals within it is a bigotry, through and through. Bigotry.

Your family will most likely not accept this, however, and I would honestly recommend that you don't even try to convince them. Have you ever tried to convince someone to stop believing in their religion and actually expect them to suddenly agree with you on the spot and completely abandon the entire worldview that makes them feel special and enlightened and righteous and deserving of good and justice and retribution? It's impossible. Foundational transitions like that happen within the individual and happen slowly.

I would also keep in mind that, because of these beliefs, and because you are the male in their frequent proximity—right under their roof!—you will continue to often be on the receiving end of these corrosive beliefs. You did not choose to be ambassador of the male population to them, nor did you choose to be the effigy that they can burn on behalf of all the male individuals who have done them great wrongs, but here you are.

What I would recommend is to not hold their innate-trait demographic responsible for the twisted and resentful rhetoric of a cultish religion that individuals have evangelized to them, and which they have adopted as objective fact. It's quite clever how the rhetoric is built to be perfectly recursive within itself, with every path leading to “the problems of the human condition and of the world are men's fault and men's responsibility”—how convenient for them. Now all they have to do is complain about it and wash their hands of the effort of improving the world by first improving their own hearts. I would recommend continuing to work on yourself, the one person you do have the hope of controlling. If your sisters act out against you, and you know it would be wrong or a betrayal of the best you that you can be, then do not return the same cruelty or rudeness to them. Be the better, bigger person. You will almost definitely never receive any credit or praise for that “better” behavior from them—especially if you have been deemed the family black sheep, either by personality differences, or perhaps because you are the male stand-in to receive any repressed resentments they hold for your father—but regardless of what other people think, you would be bricklaying the habitual foundations of your own strong, responsible character from a young age, and that's damn near priceless.

They may have adopted an ideology of bigotry, and I'm sorry that they did and that you are on the receiving end of it, but you will be better than that. There may be hope for them, yet, but it is not your responsibility.

It's like how women are allowed to be wary of men because of bad experiences in the past with men but no man is ever given that grace if he has bad experiences with women. He still has to give other women the benefit out of the doubt. All men are guilty for the crimes of some men but all women aren't guilty for the crimes of some women.

I don't know why you are even debating anything about the world, how does anything happening anywhere change what is happening to you in your home.

Its probably not a good idea to have debates on these topics when they hit so close to your feelings about your personal life. It kinda feels like you wanna open up about your personal feelings about how youre treated as a man, but instead make it about how men in general are treated. In your situation I might even openly just say "well i hate the way im treated for being a man."

Im not saying i dont believe men aren't systemically abused and mistreated (ive been on this sub for years), but youre 15 and stuck right in the middle of a toxic home life, so it's hard to separate your feelings while having discussions.

The manly and mature thing to do would be to sit down and have a conversation with them. "Hey, sometimes I feel disrespected because of XYZ, so I'd appreciate it if you would stop." This is your family, it's important to be able to communicate with family, and other people, so that you can maintain relationships and avoid issues in the future. It might take more than one conversation too, especially with siblings.

As for comebacks, idk man, periods do suck, rape and SA are big problems that impact a lot of people. Maybe try to lead the conversations in a more productive direction when those conversations come up. Debates are fine sometimes but when you find yourself obsessing over them or focused more on winning than actually discussing, then you need to take a break.

I think this is more asshole behavior. I personally spend most of my time with my dad, and he has an extremely clear bias for me and my brothers. I don't hate women either, but it gets tiring being bombarded with it, so when my sister starts talking about stuff like that, I just tune her out. I'm just sucking it up for now. I'm going to uni this year, and from there I'll hopefully get a house, and I recommend you do the same.

Don't even bother engaging with your sister on men vs women differences. You are not every man, and she is not every woman. Are you able to live with your dad more? Perhaps your mom is taking out her anger towards your dad on you, if you resemble him. However, things may not be better if your parents were still together - often men are harder on their sons than daughters.

As you get older, developing a predisposition to serve others is important. This is the difference between a child and an adult. There is nothing wrong with holding the door - don't make it a gendered thing - just do it for everone whenever possible. It's a good habit to have.

If you feel taken advantage of or verbally abused, that is a problem. You need to consistently assert a boundary when this happens. Say "I'm not your servant, but you're welcome". Say "If we can't share the responsibility to pump gas I don't want to ride with you anymore".

It is okay to feel angry. It's not okay to yell or get physical. You win when you rise above the emotion and channel it into productive communication and action. Don't learn this the hard way.

Get a job and save the money. It will give you options later. For example, driving yourself rather than relying on them. Becoming an independent adult will help you create more boundaries and distance should that become necessary.

You do not ever need to engage in debates about feminism. You can simply say "I don't want to talk about that with you". If you chose to engage in a debate be brief an focus on one topic. There are a few things that you can do to keep a high communication bar.

Signal virtue as an ally before challenging their assertions. Don't say "I hate feminists", say "I believe men and women are equal".
Focus on challenging assertions with questions. For example if they say "the patriarchy imposes a tax on women" don't say "there is no patriarchy", instead ask them "who is controlling your actions"?
Become extremely informed on the facts. For example if someone talks about a "gender wage gap" you can agree that "the BLS data does suggest that men earn more than women" and also point out "it also suggests that men work more paid hours than women acounting for much of the discrepancy".

If you feel like they aren't listening or the conversation gets too emotional you can ask: "is there anything I can say to make you change your mind" to steer it towards a resolution.

That won't change with time. When you get older you still stay those things, but you also become a teacher/plumber/mechanic/psychologist/emotional-tampon/drink-pourer/handyman/punching-bag/trashman/security-guard/etc

Just suck it up. There's nothing you can do.
