I think this subreddit shows that is there is 'meninism'. However feminism, ironically worked because many men felt equal rights made sense. The mistake was that is wasn't about equal rights.

I think the red-pill 'movement' is our version.

There almost was meninism. It was called Masculism and Warren Farrell tried to use the term to appeal to people for a while. The term didn't appeal to feminists or some of the early MRAs, but "men's rights" stuck. I think this was because feminists liked the term because it sounded ridiculous to them, and the MRM didn't find it particularly objectionable.

History is something we all want to avoid repeating.

However with the raise of equal rights, women are slowly seizing power and controlling the narrative.

Largely because when women say things, men listen, give them what they want.

However again, this has escalated to being way over the top to the point History will repeat, except women will oppress men.

Egalitarianism.

I think many of us who believe in mens rights are far more likely to just label ourselves as egalitarian because we believe in equal rights.

Meanwhile feminism seems to be trying it's hardest to Bury the term, and as a result the majority of the feminists I interact with dont even know the idea exists.

Personally I prefer the term masculism, meninism is just a dumb pun. On that note, if we are ever got a real movement moving and even had our own hypocritical projecting radicals, I think that the term for them would be masculini, a portmanteau of Mussolini and masculism. Yes I know that I said that meninism was a dumb pun, but this one is better.

Because it's an umbrella term for so, so many ideologies. Some even wildly contradicting each other.
There ARE movements that cover the male equivalents of issues. Everything from judicial and social MRA:s, to MGTOW, to the Tate-like manosphere, to incels - which itself has camps of everything between emotionally sad but reasonable people to the most unhinged persons you have ever come across anywhere. And many more communities.
