He probably assumes everyone else has already had their pick, and that the last peach is what is left over, because that is what he is used to.

I bet he thinks about her the kids waaaaaaaaay more than she gives him credit for. Also, when he does spoil them, or makes daily sacrifices or them, she simply doesn't see or acknowledge it.

This is 100% projection. Moms like her are always putting others before themselves because they think they can never put themselves first because that’s being a bad parent and a bad person. They see their husbands actually do something nice for themselves and feel the need to paint them as selfish so they can feel better about having no self esteem.

What an insane projection. When I see my wife treat herself, I don’t assume it’s because she just doesn’t give a shit about me or the kids. Instead I’m just happy for her.

Look, it’s a normal human thing to wonder about the inner thoughts of others. Sometimes our insecurities, or just feelings of burnout, can lead us to assume others (like our spouses) just don’t care as much about us or the family as we do about them.

People of either sex do this. But I’m really convinced that men are held to a higher emotional standard: we aren’t allowed to simply assume the worst of our wives, but rather encouraged to consider our wives’ viewpoints.

That’s how it should work for both parties, but women seem to be rewarded with reinforcement when they complain about their husbands. I find that really sad.

In my experience its best to eat fresh fruit as soon as you can, not just wait and assume someone else will eat it. They do bad surprisingly fast.

That's just stupid. Communication is important in relationship. Your mouth is not just for eating, it can sometimes form words, just tell him to leave it to kids.

Of course I'm quite sure he would just buy some more as needed. I always did. He is probably living in modern western world.

Sure, a bunch of women will share it with the intention of being misandrists, but they can be safely ignored as terrible people.
