How effective do you find Mark Manson's book Models?

So far in my testing, i've found it to be all the same.

It's like they are into you or they aren't.

I've had success with being super direct and i've had lots of rejections with it too

With indirect, I've also had success, but it's been on girls who seemed very open to the approach. And when girls seem very cold and uninterested, i've yet to be able to turn that ship using the attraction material we are taught (pushpull, teasing, cold reads etc)

It seems to be very split down the middle. Many top coaches say direct is the only way to go and say indirect is useless. And many other coaches say the opposite. I guess whatever you choose, you have the backing of many top coaches!

If u wanna save time, humble ur ego and have volume - use direct

If u wanna save your reputation and maintain plausible deniability in a small social circle - use indirect

Imo that's hard to not find IT effective, things like take care of yourself, get in better shape, accept being vulnerable are universal I guess. That's not rocket science or magic pill. Still good book though

It's not about "effectiveness," it's about becoming the best, most truthful and confident version of yourself. And a side effect is that there's more potential for meaningful social interactions

As in it helped me look at myself and improve myself - Yes. Which led to more success elsewhere

As compared to the usual PUA BS - definitely

As a guide on "do this step by step and get women" - No. This book is not that. If fact I don't think there is a book that does that.

There's absolutely nothing new in Models.

It's exactly the same as the 20 years worth of PUA material.

The only real difference is that Manson provides PUA material while claiming to abhore PUA material. He's a hypocrit.

That being said, the book provides an adequate framework for working with.

The book helped me keep things simple, show up as a human and just don’t focus on trying to play the woman honestly just talk to her and be cool about it. Don’t rely on tricks, rely on being confident in your skin and just enjoy the moment with no intentions
