As far as it being a test? It sounds more like a first officer telling the captain the ship is in disarray. Women are a mirror of our leadership. Perhaps the biggest problem with not owning your shit and handling things around the house is that you're now in a bit if a no-win situation with regards to frame. If you don't do it after her asking, you're a worthless piece of shit. If you do it because she asked, you're a bitch boy who has to be told what to do by mommy. As another poster suggested, you need to 1) shovel the snow. 2) speak to her face-to-face and tell her you slipped, but it won't happen again. 3) step up your game and own your shit - the fact that she had to email you and explain what's necessary to maintain a home is fucking pitiful and it's clear that you're a complete faggot on this front. You need to handle this shit without her ever telling you anything again...it's your duty and you should want to have a well maintained home FOR YOU, not as a ploy to get laid. Chore play doesn't work...being a man and handling your shit on all fronts does.

I just read your other post too - drop the fucking video games and make your availability for watching TV with her dependent upon her good behavior. Only do these things after you've done the important shit.

Small anecdote from my day. Our HVAC air filters are in our ceiling. Today I changed them out. I'm 6'4", don't need a ladder or stool, etc. As I was finishing the last one, my wife walked up behind me, grabbed my dick and said "I love how big you are" I laughed and she continued "I mean, you're so big you can reach those without a ladder." All I could think was 'damn, her game is getting as strong as mine.' Point being, it turns her on to see shit getting done. I don't talk about it, just do it. A year ago, I came here wondering why she won't fuck...now I get laid 2-3 times a week and don't recall my last rejection. She packs my lunches, has dinner waiting for me each night, cleans the house, etc. Put in the work to improve yourself FOR YOU without any expectation of how she'll respond...but she will respond, and if not, you're still better off when you next her.

Don't respond to the email. Take care of shit when you get home. Don't let your house get into disarray like that. If she brings it up in person (don't worry... she will!), simply own it. "Yeah, I know. Slipped my mind this morning. Won't happen again". Then, lead the fucking ship and make sure it doesn't happen again... either doing it yourself, or delegating it to her. But make sure you're the one thinking about it and ensuring it gets done one way or another. Not only that, but everything else in the damn house. Pretend like she doesn't live there, and you're the only one who will do that shit. Have a vision and figure out what needs to get done. Now that you've got the vision, do it and delegate to her what you can.

I work from home usually a day a week. I used to get this shit all the time. I never hear it now because I take care of my shit when I'm home. And I do it to have a well functioning house, not to please my wife. I used to hear how lazy I was and did nothing, I have not heard this in two months since I started owning my shit.

This isn't about the snow, it's about you being submissive to your wife while at the same time falling down on jobs you need to do as the man - clearing snow before it becomes solid ice falls into this category.

I don't think that's a test, she's right, it ISN'T fair to your mail lady and other people who might approach your house, plus you could face liability if someone slips and falls.

Also, while her tone is bitchy, I wonder if that's a result of your attitude (which comes through in your post) of being lazy and not dealing with things.

Not everything women do is a test, sometimes they just say stuff that is right.
