Infidelity would be my only "can't be saved" because it can't be undone. You'll never trust her and she'll never respect you if you take her back. Actual psychosis like Borderline Personality Disorder would also probably qualify.

Anything else can probably be saved, if you want to. If she's a bitch, you can probably lead her to not being a bitch. Same for disrespect, dead bedroom, etc. Now you might decide it's not worth the effort, but that likely means you don't want to fix the fact that you're a bitch, which your wife is mirroring. So you divorce, and your next girlfriend, surprise, is a bitch, because you never stopped being a bitch.

If you truly fix yourself, you give her plenty of time to change, because that rope you're towing her on is very, very long and her changes will come much slower than yours, but she still simply won't change, at all, then it's time. If she makes little changes to mirror you, keep going until those little changes add up to the big changes you want.

You have to put in the work to try to salvage your marriage, because divorce really does suck. I got a pretty good deal, all told, but it still sucks. But that being said, if you've put in the work and your wife is more of a drain than a support, then it's time to cut her off.
