Yesterday a friend of mine (uninvitedly) brought his 33-year old sister to the club with us...

I had an interesting conversation with her, as I typically like to do with 30+ year old women...

Firstly, she's single...I immediately call out that she's at least single for a few years (from my experience with older women) and she says almost 4 years (aka ended her relationship at 29, probably last-second panic from settling down)

She lives in an apartment with her parents, has no apparent plans to move out, no car, no higher education or plans, and works as a server at a restaurant...now in my personal opinion these things aren't that bad individually, the issue comes when it's all in one package...

She's had plenty of relationships in the past, and multiple proposals, just hasn't found "mr. right" yet...she went on a date recently but apparently she didn't like him and I bluntly ask: is it because he said something dumb that you didn't like and you just wrote him off? and she said yes...

Now, my impression of her:

Her appearance even for her age is a solid 7 out of 10, it's pretty clear she was a 9 when she was in her 20s

She would definitely catch your attention from afar, but up close quickly becomes clear that the tits are beginning to sag, her skin is getting old, and her hair is burnt from ironing it all the time...

Her makeup and clothing are glaringly cheap, meaning she's definitely not a high-maintenance girl even if she'd like to be...

Her personality is fine, she actually has some pretty cool interests in her personal life, definitely isn't bland to talk to, and has some nice hobbies (sewing, cooking, painting)...overall she's an okay woman really, doesn't seem like a bitch...but, of course, since she's apparently normal and that sort of thing is a premium these days, her requirements are waaay too high.

So, what are those requirements, you might be asking...well, don't be surprised if it sounds familiar:

- Must be (in her own words) extremely hot and good looking because she says she is

- Must be intelligent and funny (classics)

- Must be at least 6ft, even though she's 5.3

- Must own his place and have a nice car

- She would prefer if (aka sugarcoating that she demands that) he's wealthy

- Must want marriage and kids (tick, tick, tick)

- Must love animals because she wants a cat (I swear the memes write themselves)

Today I saw a follow request from her on Instagram...

Her profile has 900!!! photos, 80% of which are selfies (like actual self-taken photos up close with no context), 19% are standard pictures of her, and then a pinch of dumb things girls post like quotes no one cares about...

I write to her and say it was nice meeting her and she's welcome to come with us some other time and she blatantly says "thanks, but I'm not interested in any of the guys from your group so I'm not sure".

I tell her none of us are romantically interested in her either (since she's actually a lot older than any of us on average) and that no one is looking to get married soon, so she'd be wasting her time anyway.

After a few more exchanges on the topic of relationships and marriage, such as the "I'ma stay single forever woe is me", I tell her straight up: "You keep demanding Mr. Right but you never ask yourself if you're anybody's Mrs. Right..."

She saw the message but no reply yet, must have struck a nerve or maybe even sent her into a pit of self-reflection, who knows...I'll edit this post if with the reply if I ever get one.

Nothing new was learned here, just your average over 30-and-single story, thanks for reading.
