Personally I prefer my current situation with my wife (and one that I've had with several other women in the past). She rarely initiates sex, but is happy to let me initiate sex virtually whenever I feel like it. Maybe 2% of the time she tells me she isn't up for it , usually because she isn't feeling well. Personally I have never been with someone who was not willing to have sex whenever I was horny and there were no outside circumstances preventing it. So most women seem to have a perfectly fine sex drive.

That said I'm sure in an ideal world it would be nice if women lowered their standards as much as men did when they were horny. There would probably be less self conscious and socially isolated men.

Pretty much. I recently went through a brief period of unemployment so I had a lot of free time. We were going at it 3-6 times a day, if I was getting high it was more than that. I did have to chill out a little because she'd get sore.

Before that it was 2-3 times a day, but I worked full time and I go to to school full time, so considering my schedule I didn't really have time for any more.

Yes. If women had the same "thirst" level as men, they'd be more desperate and thus more willing to "bargain down" and compromise.

If this "thirst differential" were eliminated (either through reducing men's thirst level to that of women, or increasing women's thirst level to that of men), the fundamental cause of the asymmetries within the SMP would be gone. Both men and women would be equally picky (or non-picky).

It would also make it easier for men and women to relate to each other.

Not really. You are equating thirst with willingness to have sex with people you don't find attractive. Those are distinct things and that's how men think. It's just one manifestation of thirst. Women's thirst is just as intense it just manifests differently. What you have described is differences in the breadth of what men and women find attractive, not thirst.

Women love sex, they love it as much as men do - sometimes I think even more so. And they can be extremely aggressive about seeking it out from the small subset of men to whom they are actually sexually attracted. Women have a lot of sex - much more than that to which they will routinely admit.

And it could be argued that women are even thirstier for the small group of men to whom they are attracted because the competition is intense.

From your responses I would guess that you're young and relatively inexperienced where this subject is concerned. Stay tuned. just trying to point out that different women exist man. if you are into the metal head scene, what is "attractive" is pretty different for girls, than what is attractive in mainstream college campuses. there are indeed various different circumstances and sub cultures where things differ. there are nerdy girls, who would prefer to date nerdy guys, simply because the nerdy guys have more in common with them. also who said nerds can't be attractive? you simply said, they would chose chad types over nerds, well no not necessarily.

yes, yes it did crush me. i still go through periods of rage and butthurt about it, but lately, im trying to not care. im realising i can be happy without women, so what the fuck do i care what they do? live and let live. the truth is women will never really be happy anyway, so that is kind of comforting. they are happy when they are young and hot, but eventually they reach 30 and marry a man they don't really like that much cause the top 20% they used to enjoy fucking, will marry someone of higher quality. they then spend the rest of their life in a horrible, boring marriage where they don't fuck their husband. they spend their later years in regret and miss when they used to be a rock star because of their youth and attractiveness. even the women that get to marry one of the "chads" will get bored of him eventually. no one is happy being stuck with one person for 20 years, especially if they had all that slutty fun and excitement in their youth.

hence, high divorce rates, high amounts of people cheating. i can't imagine why anyone would bother with LTRs or marriage.

I'm not sure why men wouldn't want this. For guys who want relationships, one might argue that women would cheat more, but they already cheat just as much as men (for different reasons, perhaps), so I don't think they would cheat anymore than they already do if they had higher sex drives.
