In general the goal is to not invest too much in her BEFORE she invests an appropriate amount in you. This is the keystone concept of dating. You should effectively not take her seriously and she should have to do things that surprise you and SLOWLY win you over.

The second major key guys miss is that they are still going to have to do 99% of the legwork. Girls will not just jump on your dick even if they really like you. You have to go out, you have to approach, you have to assume the burden of maintaining the conversation, etc.

If you beat the streets and don't invest too much before girls are ready to hear it, you WILL get laid. Period.

One unwritten rule in my relationship with my fiance has been "trust and inspire trust." Meaning, we trust each other to try to keep us in mind when making decisions or just going through life, and we try to maintain that trust by doing things like mentioning plans to each other we make with friends ahead of time, voluntarily talking about time spent apart, letting each other know when someone of the opposite sex is pursuing us, or even including the other on decisions that are important.

Basically, just being open and honest about all aspects of our lives; not because we were told to, but because we each want to tell each other everything.
