A few things that RP calls female behavior...
-
The tendency to be picky when it comes to selecting a partner.
-
The tendency to trade up to a better partner, or be disloyal.
-
The tendency to love selfishly rather than be selfish in love.
-
The tendency to want someone 'better' than yourself.
-
The dislike of a dependent, emotional needy, or vulnerable partner.
My theory is that these observations are not due to gender differences, but due to power differences. Fundamentally, there are two states to a relationship: the state of having less power than your partner, and the state of having more power. All of the above behaviors apply to people who have more power than their partners. The male experience that TRP talks about is really just the experience of having less power in your relationships.
State 1: Feeling powerless in your relationships.
My guess is that RP men have had very little power in their past relationships. They were significantly more needy than their partners which led them to feel weak and powerless. I have been in this position myself, and it is not a nice feeling. You desperately want to some sort of control over your relationships. In this state, the idea of a relationship with a needy, dependent person seems very appealing because it offers all the power and control that you currently lack. TRP imagines that their desire for a dependent, submissive (feminine) woman is due to them being a man, but in actuality this desire comes from the basic human need for people to feel in control over their lives, in particular over their romantic relationships. Women have this same experience. They say they want a nice, devoted, loving 'beta' guy as an expression of their desire for power. TRP aptly notes that when given this guy, women seem to change their minds rather quickly, but what they don't realize is that men do the same thing when given a submissive woman. This brings me to the second state of being in a relationship.
State 2: Having more power in your relationship.
There is a tendency for people to believe that if they feel some way now, they will feel that way always. However, this is usually not the case. When given the power that they want, both men and women start to feel differently. This power doesn't come for free, there is a trade-off. In order to gain power, you have to have more value than the other person or meet their wants better than they meet yours. In other words, in order to gain power, you have to be getting a worse deal. When put in a worse deal situation, people start wanting a better deal. The responsibility of having another person so emotionally dependent on you starts feeling like a burden. Other attractive potential mates look more appealing. You are not so infatuated with the other person as they are with you, and as a result you put in less effort into the relationship. The other's need for affection, sex, marriage, or commitment feels stifling.
A person previously in State 1 will almost predictably switch to State 2 when given enough power. This is why you see 'alpha' men acting selfishly in their relationships, rejecting women for minor physical flaws, and replacing their women with a new one as soon as she starts becoming too much of a bother. Normally TRP would call this female behavior, but it occurs in men. Why? Because it's how humans universally act when given power. The 'alpha widows' are loyal, unselfish, and devoted to their alphas, even though TRP would typically call this male behavior. Why? It's because this is how humans act when put in a state of powerlessness.
Kindness, loyalty, and supplication does nothing to increase the power of either men or women in their relationships. At best it keeps you from being too annoying to the powerful person, and they won't dump you as quickly. For a person who desperately needs power (aka. TRP men), this is why BP advice never seems to work, but RP does. At the very least, RP advice gives men feelings of power, so it seems to work.
These beliefs are based on my observations of how both men and women act when they have power, and what they say they want whenever they feel powerless. Sorry I don't have any more concrete evidence beyond that.
