So I saw this post saying something about "RP themed" music, so I'm wondering what makes something RP? Can I just call whatever I want RP? Also...

You barely know me, quit making broad assumptions just because you see a blue flair. I do not think all of TRP is "bad" or there's no "good" advice to be found there.

Regarding (2); It is because there are plenty of more effective methods to use, that are likely to be more sustainable, and is better advice in most cases. That doesn't change the fact that you can indeed use counseling or befriending at first as a sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men.

You can't negotiate attraction - so don't try to do so. That doesn't mean you shouldn't communicate with your partner. What do you think "game" is if it isn't a way of communicating? Do you really believe TRP advises men to not communicate with women?

Talk to your lady - just think through how you talk to her. It doesn't matter if it's in counseling, or at home, or wherever.

The only focus red pill has is to find the best sexual strategies. That's it!

The closest you can get to finding a need for anything "blue pill" within TRP is on a list at the bottom of some strategy nerds "battle chest" labeled "Things that don't work:".

There isn't much point in saying "Brah, that advice is BP AF!" A better solution would be to say "Try x, y and z instead. I think you'll have more success with it because q, r and s." Then someone might learn something. Which is the point of discussing sexual strategies.

I never said anything of the sort but it's common knowledge that certain techniques are considered more BP and others more RP. RP is generally more passive aggressive, BP would be generally more upfront and honest -- including emotions (which RP advice would say steer away from). This is generally a difference in what TRP would label BP versus RP advice -- doesn't mean TRP wouldn't make exceptions of what the "best" advice is depending on the context.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here -- if basically all advice on sexual strategy/LTRs can be dubbed "RP" than why do TRP member seem to categorize them into BP/RP categories? This is something I see them do regularly. All the comments about "back in my BP days I would have done/thought x,y,z" would be included in these examples.

I address factual inaccuracies touted by RPers and others alike. The only time you will see me say something is "wrong" is when it violated my moral code and someone tries to justify it. This is a debate sub, not a "I'm really trying to right the world's wrongs sub", at least for me. The most frequent time you will see me do this is wrt cheating posts because that's a subject I refuse to separate my morality from.

If you knew me you'd know there are plenty of things I agree with RPers on, I have lots of RP friends, and lots of reasonable discussions with the ones who don't float around a bunch of facts they pulled out of their asses.

That's the sentence that started the discussion. It doesn't mention so called "BP" advice.

Yes and my comment to that specific comment was that I don't think you can up and unilaterally define "RP" that way -- considering that there is plenty of advice red pillers themselves would label "BP" that may be successful.

There is not divide in TRP among BP- and RP-advice. This is something you've gotten into your head for whatever reason. Just let it go. This is what you're stuck upon. You divide it into two camps. RP-world and BP-world.

This isn't me pushing this, this is what RPers say. I did not create this in my head -- this is premised on what self-professed members of TRP or RP-leaning commentators say here. This is why they say things like "BP me used to do x,y,z" or "a bloop would argue this..." or "bloops get this [insert fact] wrong, it's really [insert competing fact]". These are people making direct distinctions between "BP" and "RP" approaches to sex and LTRs.

So RP is just sexual strategy that works.

And what I've been trying to say this whole time is that if it's just "sexual strategy that works" literally any sexual strategy would qualify as RP, and no failed sexual strategy would qualify as RP, and this does not take into account that RP offers some specific advice here that may or may not work for all or at all times.

If I wrote a post on r/TRP and said "my husband told me he loved me the first time we met and wrote flowery poetry to me every month and we've stayed together for 30+ years because I love how romantic he is, it turns me on" no RP poster is going to say "good for him, he nailed RP."
