Context. I dont read TRP much but i am male. I merely stumbled across this sub while clicking, "random." I think a good relationship consists of many different layers and to me, it is easier to describe a bad relationship than a good one because there as so many things that are good about being in a committed relationship. I think spending time together, doing things that both people enjoy, is paramount. My girlfriend and I cook almost all of our meals together, we exercise together, we learn from one another, and we have great sex. When I have a surplus of income I tend to spend a lot of money on her and when she has a surplus of income she spends TONS of money on me. It's pretty badass coming home to thoughtful gifts. I have a good relationship with her parents and she has a great relationship with mine. I'm 27, so this is important to me. I like her friends and she tolerates mine lol. I think we make for a good relationship.

I'm probably a little different when it comes to relationships but I've always seen relationships as being about raising kids together. That's probably why I've never really felt the need or desire to get in one, seeing as that I'm not nearly ready for kids yet.

I quite like my solitude so a relationship has to be very serious about investing in a family and raising some children together for it to be worth it for me. Outside of children I think I'd prefer to stay alone.
