Do you expect restrictions on family size to be imposed in the next 200 years, to alleviate overpopulation? If so, how would that impact sexual strategy?

We already have data from the world's first major deliberate population-limitation drive, imposed by Beijing. There are plenty of scenarios which would lead to such a thing occurring. I believe anthropogenic global warming is a fact, and I regard it as the most likely candidate. But even if it didn't, regular compound growth over 2 centuries could easily lead to a population of 100bn people by 2217, a situation in which the world's arable land would very possibly be maxed out.

Agronomists in 2217 could give the world government the bad news: soil is a finite resource that regenerates extremely slowly, and farming degrades soil much quicker than nature can recreate it. Sure, you can handwave and assume that benevolent wizards scientists will magically produce an infinite food supply and all 100bn people will individually decide to have small families. But it also makes sense to figure out the non-ideal scenarios too. I'm not doomsaying, there are plenty of cheerful scenarios too, but they generate less interesting discussion.

Please let's just keep the thread based on the assumption that, for one of a spectrum of plausible reasons, global authorities enforce a one-child policy. How would you date differently in that scenario? If the one-child policy had been in effect for the last 10 years, how would your sex life have been different?
