There are two basic problems with feminism as far their goals are concerned. The two basic problems seem to be this: Every thing is a problem for women, and all problems that women face are a result of men and in particular the white heterosexual male. The second aspect of feminism that seems to be a hindrance to their end goals of equality is the sexual dichotomy of oppressor and the oppressed. The oppressor is naturally the male and in particular the white heterosexual male. The oppressed is the woman.

Now, aside from poessing a vagina, what exactly makes a woman distinct from a man? The answer to that questions is her oppression. If women were no longer oppressed, than women would lose one if their distinctive characteristics of being a political and social minority. That's what feminists claim, that women hold a strata which is politically and socially disadvantaged compared to the male.

So, feminists, how do you ameliorate the feminist sexual dichotomy of oppressor and oppressed relationship? If women are no longer oppressed, than by definition feminism ceases to function becase there is no longer any oppression taking place. That is, no oppression that concerns women.

Edit.

I can see this discussion is not going in the direction I dad hopped.

Edit2.

Dear feminists in general: What exactly is your goal and what will you do in the time after your goal has been achieved?
