Ugh, that kind of person makes me uncomfortable just thinking about them. Being embarrassed by someone is an instant turn off for me. I'd imagine there's a similar affect on any other well-adjusted woman.

I'm not one of those people who believes that looks are the only thing that matters, but if he's good looking then he can certainly get away with a lot (though it depends on how good looking you mean). Awkwardness is more likely to be seen as harmless, innocent, or even endearing. And the "trying to be the class clown" type of awkwardness is better than the more blatantly insecure type.

Knew such a guy. He did pretty fucking alright. He was insanely good looking, but a complete and total jackass. What happened was he would have literally every girl in the room attracted to him initially, but most would then be turned off by his jackass behavior and shitty conversation skills. At the end of the night, it would still leave more girls attracted to him than he could fuck in one night, so he was never thirsty.
