You're approaching this incorrectly in my view. It's not that I'm attracted to the traits most people count as a turn off, it's that the sum of their parts (which includes their attractive traits) nets out to an attractive person as a whole.

Her personality and the way she treats me is perfect. I doubt I'd find another like her so I want her for life.

Most of the girls I've been with are at the same level as me physically with one of my ex's being much hotter, so this kind of strategy goes against the normal run of things for me, but she's worth it.

And I don't find her unattractive in any case, I just know I could easily do better physically especially since I've been getting in shape recently, but I simply don't care. I don't think in the time I have left on this rock that I could find anyone better suited to me emotionally and mentally.

Intelligence is a big one for me. The most ill-advised relationship I was ever in was with a woman who was less attractive than me, but brilliant and an excellent writer. I could tell she wasn't that attractive just looking at her, but I wanted to jump her bones every time I saw her because of how freaking smart she was. (Good writing > other forms of intelligence, sadly, because I can't really appreciate math skill.)

General compatibility is another big one-- in particular, how good someone is at handling my mental illness.

I also have different tastes than a lot of people. Chubby people are cute. :)

I'm objectively more physically attractive than my partner of about 10 months, by a long shot. He makes me laugh. Also, if I am being completely honest, he is appreciative. He loves my body so much because it is the type of body he didn't think he would ever get to fuck, really. I've been both the more and the less attractive partner, I'd say I'm currently the less attractive one.

I guess looks have never been the main thing for me, even tough they matter, but attraction has rather stemmed from stuff like personality and how interesting they make my life.

She's not as good looking as the girls I can usually pull, but everything else about her is way more attractive.

She has humor, similar interests and values, a great personality and hanging out with her is a blast. She knows how to turn me on and having sex with her is the best.

For me being very intelligent can make up for not being super good looking. Also I can overlook a weird looking face for a glorious body. Mostly it's the intellectual thing for me though. I had a huge thing for this one woman who could out-math me hard when I was super into math (I've since lost a lot of what I knew because I've neglected it in the past five years). She was super plain looking but damn if I didn't want to fuck her and hopefully glean some of her genius via my dicking.

Last GF was probably a five. I'm probably an eight (and no I'm not overvaluing myself, I really am just attractive), a very strong seven at the least.

I liked her because she was attractive enough for me physically, and unlike pretty much every other girl I've ever met, didn't have a major flaw in her personality that turned me off. She was friendly, feminine, open-minded, and didn't think she was smarter than she was.

I like generally un-opinionated girls, not because I don't think that girls should have opinions, but because not many girls are actually smarter than I am, and I hate shit opinions. The girls who are smarter than I am are usually either ugly, bitchy, or have their pick of any guy they could possibly want (and they're so rare that you never actually meet them).
