for all that it claims to encourage outcome independence and not focussing on the perceptions of others, trp seems awfully needy for validation, which is why you end up with cringeworthy posts by young guys about 'not giving a fuck' 24/7. indeed many frs seem to be young insecure guys seeking validation that they 'did this alpha enough' and 'weren't too beta'

far from not giving a fuck, i think that some of these dudes are cripplingly needy and insecure, dependent on the validation of others to the extent they'll take a supply of reassurance of their own attractiveness and self worth from randomz on the interwebz
