I think the Red Pill idea of cheating: that a cheating woman will try to "trade up" and sleep with a man of higher "SMV" is pretty flawed. Sure, that sometimes happens, but reasons for cheating are often complex and multifaceted.

For example, a girl who I know very well cheated on her boyfriend for emotional reasons: in her mind she wanted to "detach" or something because she thought he would break up with her. Sure it was definitely "hamstering", but not in the way you guys define it. The guy she cheated with definitely had a lower "SMV" than her boyfriend: fat, ginger, low-ish social status. She even said the sex with him was worse than with her boyfriend. Long story short, this guy was definitely not a chad. I think this kind of thing happens more than the Red Pill would like to admit, because they don't have a good explanation for why women cheat for emotional reasons rather than to "trade up" or whatever.
