RP deals with neuro-normative people. Our assumptions always include some assumption that you follow the default pattern for your sex reasonably closely.

So, even within heterosexual women there will be some who, here or there, are off out of the main bulk of attitudes for their sex. Usually on an attribute here, and an attribute there.

Homosexuals are by definition non-neuro normative for their sex. As such they are far more likely to be outside the parameters RP works on, and the more they are non-standard for their sex the less our usual assumptions may apply. To the point where and entirely male brained woman (one likely to wish to be a FtoM transsexual) is more likely to be described by our male assumptions than female.

Where lesbian women fit on this spectrum will depend on how neuro normative they are, I'd say the most feminine ones and bi sexuals are probably close enough to AWALT for the heuristic still to apply in many circumstances. The more masculine and butch they are, the increasingly less likely to apply it is.

It's an Anna Karenina thing.... "All happy families are the same, but each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way"..... "All neuro normative females are 'the same', but each non-neuro normative female is different in her own idiosyncratic ways". At least with respect to the generalisations and categorisations RP uses.

The LGBT community deals with an aspect of the Kinsey scale which too directly threatens TRP's hegemonic heteronormative narrative, introducing shades of grey to the black and white social dynamic they have created. Therefore it is quite quickly discarded for convenience.

Personally I believe that her degree of AWALT will depend on several factors

a) Her having female genitalia-biologically she is Female, so that's satisfieid

b) How much of a 'female' brain she has

c) Related to b) her SMV. I find that higher SMV women typically have more 'female' brains. Let's not forget that men can have femal/feminine-leaning brains too. A basic example of this is that you have the stereotypical pejorative 'butch lesbian' but you also have stereotypical hot lesbian girls having sex. The former is more likely to have (but not definitely) a more 'male' brain than the latter.

Why would I care?

I am not being snarky here. I am just trying to show the difference between how red pillers and blue pillers look at the sexual strategy that is TRP.

I am a red piller and immediately think: "Why would I care? Why would I care if AWALT applies to lesbians, too? I don't need to know. I want to improve my dating life, my sex-life and find a perfect LTR so why would I waste my time thinking about whether AMALT applies to lesbians or not?"

A blue piller on the other hand is likely to approach it like this: "Legit question! Let's find inconsistencies! This could be another thing that proves that TRP is bullshit."

Yes, the question is legit and it's fun to talk about it here at PPD.

I haven't talked about this topic with the very few lesbians I know, but from all the accounts I've read on here, especially the bisexuals who can compare lesbians to straight men, AWALT still rings true. The common theme is that relationships with women are more emotionally intense for better and worse. That's not to say that men don't have their own unique problems.

Also: all people of all sexes, genders, ethnicities, placement on the LGBTQwhatever scale are subject to the hamster.

Well women are ruled by their emotions so yes hamster will be in action for sure. Everything else no idea, I have no experience with lesbian relationships so have no opinion on the rest of it.

No, income doesn't seem to be a factor. Everything else held equal, both would want to date some more physically 'attractive'.

Partner count is a non-issue for lgbt in general.

That stereotype doesn't exist in the community.

I haven't seen an equivalent of the wall.

Not in the cocky asshole type sense. There are lesbians that are undeniably good at picking up women.
