Lots of people always say to treat girls or women with respect, to show them respect, make sure you are respectful to them etc. Generally, I think this has different definitions and perceptions of what it exactly means.

In the context of male and female heterosexual relationships, be it just approaching a girl to ask her out, talking to her in a nightclub etc, how do you define giving a woman respect? What does it mean for a man to do this?
