For sex, never. Lots of different guys have drifted away when I wouldn't have sex with them within a few dates, though.

Women don't really get rejected for 2 reasons: 1) men want sex. 2) they don't ask, hence they don't get rejected (in fact I know girls who have never, ever asked for a date, so they have never been rejected).

The real question is, how many were rejected when they tried to develop a relationship out of it? Then it goes much, much higher.

It's different.

I'm pretty sure I'll never in my life be denied sex if I wanted it (speaking generally).

But there was a major time in my life when I had a HUGE crush on this guy.

In more or less terms he said he would be DTF but nothing more.

Remember I was having dreams of us holding hands and riding off in to the sunset and/or frolicking in meadows.

So that shit hurt.

We never had sex even though of course I really wanted to.

But having sex with him would have been just signing up to get played.

So sad. Crushed on that mofo for 5 years!

For sex never unless I have had sex with the guy before and wanted to see him again. For long term relationships endlessly, before I met my husband. I have also had men ignore my messages on dating websites. I don't usually approach new people offline.

Not often. In fact, never. But I've never actually sought out a man to date. The only instance I've given out my contact info without being asked is my current boyfriend, after we had a decent connection going.

Never , but that's because I don't try to approach anyone right now . I have been rejected a couple of times when I bothered to make the first move . That was a long time ago though .

I get a response from 1 out of 10 messages I send. I end up meeting about 1 out of 3 of women that responds to my messages. I end up getting rejected by about a third of women I meet and I reject about half of who I meet.

I don't get rejected, but I don't actively look. Even back when I was on dating websites I never initiated contact. Never had the need to.

I've never been rejected but I've only initiated with 3 guys. Once for sex, twice for dates then a relationship.

When I was really young (middle/early high school) I had some unrequited crushes. At least 1 was totally obvious and totally freaked the guy out. I made one serious relationship approach much later, which worked out.
