I'm a college student about to finish summer. Mornings are spent working out and playing soccer. Nights are getting drunk. Atm my friends are watching a shitty movie and I'm on the couch with headphones.

My SMV is questionable. Doubt it's improving or dropping atm.

I have a high "SMV".. I have an interest in these topics but I realize most people don't want to talk about it, so I come here. Sometimes I tell my SO about it and he'll say, "don't go to a KKK meeting and not expect racists. Stop arguing with TRP because they won't get it." I've acquired high enough SMV that I'm not ashamed of who I am. Sex itself as a hobby isn't that interesting to me, but the theory behind it is. It is ambiguous, interesting, tied to our nature, yet no one seems to be able to fully grab onto it and say, "Here, this is the truth about sex."

When you dig into it, it takes you on a tour of science, philosophy, psychology, and pretty much everything else. When I try and find the answer to a question, I run into this quagmire of additional questions.

Take my question about the ethical objection to TRP strategies. People talked a lot about Moral Relativism. Today I read more about it, and I left with more questions than answers.

So what started out as a curiosity on seddit has turned into this bizarre hunger for answers that will probably not end until I'm dead.

In the mean time I just jerk off once in awhile.

I have a weird work schedule (I define my hours, and those can be traditional M-F/9-5 or as avant garde as T-S/11-7 or 8).

I'm fascinated by gender dynamics, and I love people who challenge my own ideals.

Given all of that, it should be pretty obvious why PPD is my catnip.

Dude. No doubt about it. PPD is nothing but slacking off time.

Perhaps as a noob there was a net benefit of PPD, although not as much as other RP subs.... But now this is time wasting.

I don't live my life for RP. I live it to be entertained. At the moment this place is providing the bulk of my entertainment.

I could, arguably should, use that time to advance myself further.... But I'm now pretty happy where I am.

TBH, I'm probably on here a bit too much, it's why I've been cutting back recently in posting.

I usually only respond through work in between emails or during breaks. Then there's an odd evening where I'm killing time after the gym or bored. Its better than wasting time on mindless video games or netflix in my opinion.

Bored. Doing office work stuff.

Making improvements, but maybe not as fast as I could.

Posting on PPD does not improve my SMV. I use this forum to help me in my arguing with BP's. Most of society is BP so using this to try out new arguments or to find out where the line is, is actually extremely useful.

Pretty sure most of the people here are posting at work. I work in an insurance office but get paid on commission only. I get paid anywhere from $175 to $425 per policy issued. A policy takes about an hour to write. So I can literally make, some weeks, a full week's salary in only 8 to 10 actual hours of work, but I do have to be in the office from 9 to 5 to field incoming calls and walk-in traffic. Leaves time for Reddit and the occasional set of desk-side push-ups or burpees. If you don't know what a burpee is, google Spartan Race.

I sometimes post here, but it honestly can piss me off sometimes so I take long breaks. I'm married and happy though, so I'm not spending energy on the dating scene. And I don't follow RP theory in my marriage.

I am a company secretary, so in between resolutions I pop onto reddit. This clears my brain so I can go back and make sure I haven't made any typos.

I exercise in the morning and after dinner in the evening I like to pop onto reddit while I watch tv and knit. I don't really worry about improving my smv, I just wanna be healthier because then I may live longer and my life is pretty awesome.

I don't need more SMV... at least not for its own sake. I mean its always nice to be fitter, wittier and better presented, but those are things I like in myself because they make my life more comfortable and fulfilling in ways other than sex.

My posting is not at work, just random times.

Grabbing a drink after work chatting up the bartender, commuting somewhere, away for work at some hotel somewhere with no time to do anything cool in the local city, etc.

I mean in all of these instances I could technically be doing something more TRP, but I don't see the harm in checking out reddit if I have some time to kill but not enough to make it really useful.

Not 100% of the time. These past three weeks I ate way too much junk food. Set my diet back a month (didn't lose those three weeks but gained enough that it took a week or two to lose. However, I would say that I am on a general tend. Thinner and more muscular than I've ever been, more outgoing and confident, gaining success in my career, etc. Woman are paying way more attention to me now than even a year ago.

I'm on a summer break, still working out, reading, learning every day. I'm not replacing nights out with PPD, this is only for downtime or breaks. All the things that increase SMV I'm still doing, PPD doesn't prevent that.
