I don't think the claim is that extremely rare geniuses will disappear. I believe you are straw manning because you picked out the only people who stuck out to you in u/Atlas_B_Shruggin 's comment. What will happen is that as men assess their incentives and realize marriage/relationships/families aren't worth the terms on which women currently offer them, they be gradually less willing to work hard to produce excess for society. Most men don't really want to get up at 4 am, drive 2 hours to a construction site and lay wires/plumbing/weld shit all day, they do it to support a family. Men overwhelmingly occupy trades involving the basic support system of society that people take for granted, plumbing, farming, irrigation, electricity, etc. Without them doing this, women cannot nurse, teach, take care of kids, etc.

Men also do not need that many material goods to live independently, the main things they purchase are electronics and outdoors stuff, but if they don't have a family to spend time on they can build a lot of shit themselves. Without the critical mass of people working hard to maintain the basics of society (food, plumbing, electricity, etc), there is no way to support a handful of geniuses working exclusively to innovate. If Einstein or Tesla had been born in 20,000 BC they would be just another hunter in the pack fighting for survival. They were only able to stand out due to a pre established civilization, which has only ever been established via patriarchy.

Other than childbirth, I'm inclined to agree with you that women aren't really necessary for anything. They're still useful for some things though and motivation's one of them. Women aren't gonna cause a collapse of society but they can ruin the quality of life. Collapsing society would be quite the feat and women can't really do tough feats, good or bad. Although, they're much more likely to cause society to fully collapse than they are to help it so I think psychologically people kind of contrast the two without realizing it.

Sex is the primary motivator of all men's actions from puberty to senior citizenship. Success is subconsciously driven by a willingness to impress women. If men could have sex every waking minute of the day they would never work on anything.

Some men seem to be primarily motivated by getting women. The most respectable people I've meet do what they do because of larger goals. I know one woman who works tirelessly, day and night, to build a business. She dreams of developing a certain type of technology. She has very little interest in status or finding good men. The more dedicated men also follow suit, pursuing their goals just to pursue them. The reason I brought up a woman is because she just so happens to far surpass any man I've ever meet in terms of dedication. I think she is a great example of what fuels the best innovation and creativity.

I don't think men can be as innovative, creative, or motivated on their own. Ever notice how married men's incomes are nearly always higher? The Teslas are the exception not the rule. Notice how he always came up short in business?

I am certain Tesla would have achieved a lot more if he had had a strong team at home, and it would have helped him build stronger teams in business. Women aren't just for decoration and social skills aren't just for partying.

personally i dont, in fact even if 100% of men went mgtow (strict definition: not getting married) i dont think any thign would really change other fewer guys getting fucked by divorce.
