There's an old joke: "A dog loves you more than your wife ever could. If you don't believe me, lock each one in the trunk of your car for 12 hours on a hot day and see which one will be happy to see you when you open it." Let's look at that logic as it applies to things like feminism and the red pill.

Feminists have spent a hundred years saying that males are controlling, oppressive, privileged, violent, or just plain evil. They have advocated genocide, the removal of men's rights, harsher standards in court, female-centric education, and unequal custody laws. The anti-male culture is just incredibly pervasive. It's everywhere you look and absolutely undeniable.

Near as I can tell, at least 80% of men reply by saying "No, we're not like that! Look at me, I'm a nice guy. I'd never rape you. I'll even help you combat those rapists and I'll never doubt your stories! I love you. Here, have education perks, quotas, my kids, alimony, and whatever else! Please, just take me back. I swear, I'll do whatever it takes to make you happy."

Now let's look at the red pill. We've spent two years saying that women are useless sluts who act like children and can't do basic shit. They'll never be productive in the workforce and they'll never love you in a way that you'd actually want to be loved. These are some mean things to say but nothing like Sally Miller Gearheart and we don't try to infringe on women's lives.

Women have not replied: "Oh my god! We've been doing that? I'm solipsistic and doing shit regularly that'd be considered abusive if the genders were reversed? You mean you DON'T like working to subsidize me, losing your rights, and having to pick up the slack for no real social reward? Oh my god! I'll change!!!"

Of course, red pillers aren't trying to bring about that change; but it's notable how different the reaction is.

On a cultural level, men have been locked in the trunk for a century and are still glad to see the women come by. Women have heard a small number of men suggest that maybe they need a turn in the trunk and are pissed off about it. On a cultural level, men are loyal and women are not. Now, I think it's a pretty small move to suggest that it probably happens on an individual level too. In my experience, it's undeniable.
