I believe that, a woman, just for the fact of having a vagina and a womb, will have some base level sexual appeal, but a man, just for having a penis, does not have a base level sexual appeal. I believe much of a man's sexual/social value has to be attained in life, while a female's does not, although it can be raised. My reason for this view is based on the following observations:

Theoretical

  1. Women can only produce one baby at a time naturally, so by primal instinct, there will be more competition by males to get a female pregnant. Men, on the other hand, produce a constant, and infinite amount of sperm, so a female does not really have to compete for the sperm of a male because he can produce enough to impregnate many, many females.
  2. Because of that fact females have 1/7th the amount of testosterone that males do, there sexual drive is lower so the people which they find attractive will be of a smaller range. AKA, it takes more to turn them on and make them attracted than a male does.

Modern, Practical observations:

  1. In youth, girls generally complain about being approached too much by guys, being cat called, harassed. Men, are generally not catcalled or approached in such a way unless they are extraordinarily attractive.
  2. In most college parties or frat parties, a girl can usually stroll in at any time she wants, while a guy will have to be in the frat or pay a cover charge to get in. This also occurs at some nightclubs.
  3. In my own experience, there are more promiscuous girls in a college setting then there are promiscuous guys.
  4. Again, this is a personal judgement but, an attractive girl (7/10) can have an easier time integrating into new social circles, just by being aesthetically appealing, while a guy is just as attractive will need to have a confident, charismatic personality to do the same.
