Aging well or not so well has pretty much everything to do with a persons health and genes and pretty much zero to do with sex. I don't know what women with poor diets TRP hangs around where all women just get uggo in their thirties...

As long as you eat healthy and exercise, don't drink heavily and don't smoke, you should do alright...your genes determine if it's an uphill battle or an easy slight incline...

I never quite understood why TRP doesn't quite believe that men generally age also and they too get unattractive as much as women who age do. I think that it's just a fantasy they have...to believe that all the women who rejected them will hit a wall and become ugly while the men just get better and better. They forget that some of those women are working out and eating healthy and taking care of themselves too...

The fact that SMV is only attractiveness-related in women and not men is laughable. Yes, everyone ages and so based on looks alone, we ALL will go down a few points, some more than others. Of course, placing value on other things like intelligence, wisdom, interests, etc...means that anyone regardless of sex, can affect their SMV for the negative or positive.

I'm a guy in my mid forties and still pull girls in their twenties. Most recently a 22 yo college student. In my experience the reverse doesn't happen, though I also think older women in general aren't as attracted to younger men.

Bald is not bad. The guy who wrote the Game is bald. And in any case most guys who lose hair start to do so in their twenties. I've never had that issue so I don't know what it's like to deal with it.

Men tend to be more attracted to physical beauty than to social status. Men value social status hardly at all. Women tend to find social status very attractive.

Thus, a woman without much in terms of physical beauty, but with tons and tons of social status is still unattractive. Think Hillary Clinton, for example. Her SMV has gone down even though her fame and power has skyrocketed.

A man with very high social status can get away with being ugly. Think Bill Clinton, for example.

If both a man and woman maintain their looks as best they can through a healthy lifestyle, and they both cultivate a good career, the man but not the woman will indeed increase in SMV. Imagine an average 20 year old man. He looks okay, but he has little money or life experiences. Now imagine him at 35 assuming he's stayed in shape, has a good career, has matured a bit, etc. Make the same comparison with an average woman. I submit to you that most men, given the choice, will pick the 20 year old woman with the hot body. The 35 year old version of herself will say, "wait! I've traveled the world! I have an MBA!" - most men wont care. If they have the choice, they'll take the 20 year old. Most women on the other hand, will find the 35 year old man more attractive.

The red pill mostly agrees with you, with the caveat that bald isn't always the wall for men. There are other factors. Just like age isn't the sole determinant for women and there are multiple factors.

TRP likes to throw out examples of attractive older men like George Clooney as some kind of proof that men don't hit "the wall". But then I can give examples of older women who are still smokin' too - Nicole Kidman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Julianne Moore. I think if people have good genetics and take care of themselves (and have free access to plastic surgeons and lots of minor cosmetic procedures), they can easily stay attractive. But celebrities are not good examples of what most people can expect. Most random TRPers are not gonna be George Clooney, and most random women are not gonna be Julianne Moore. Older men get wrinkles, extra pudges of fat, weird new bodyhair and all that other great stuff that comes with age too. You can stave it off but ultimately, older men are not as sexually attractive as younger men and I think TRP is a bit deluded when it comes to this subject.

I would sort of agree with this. I think that a lot of r/TRP overestimates how attractive the vast majority of guys over 40 would be, even after applying TRP principles. However, the point still stands that there are many older men who retain high SMV well into their senior years (50+), to the point where they can easily out-compete men in their 20s or 30s in the sexual marketplace (for example, older actors or businessmen), while I don't know of any woman over 50 who would be considered to have higher SMV than a merely passably attractive woman in her 20s by a large fraction of straight men.
