Traditional societies were even more blue pill than progressive societies. The idea that women are "nicer" and more virtuous than men is rooted in traditionalism.

But they also enforced conformity to this with a stick. Women who weren't virtuous were punished for it. Sometimes by stoning.

It's only blue pilled if the corresponding obligations are no longer placed on women, but continue to be enforced on men, which is more or less the case today.

Traditional societies placed mandatory obligations on both. You can argue that the ones on women were greater then than those on men (I think you'd be wrong but whatever), but that's why feminism is women's redpill. The mandatory obligations on women are less today than on men, and that's why TRP is men's redpill today.
