This comparison of spending the night in the cold, vs having to fuck a guy in order to sleep in his hotel is pissing me off. Major cities like Toronto have hotels with lobbies. Just go to a hotel and sit in the lobby.

There should also be 24/7 fast food joints. Go have a coffee, then come back and sit in the lobby. Grab a bunch of free newspapers and read them, solve the puzzles.

Did she fly there? Check in early to an airport, no one gives a shit if you nap in an airport. Took a train? Nap in the station.

You think I'm running out of options? Go sit/nap in a hospital/emergency, just alert the staff of the situation.

This is not to mention that if you walk into any reputable hotel and explain your situation, they will find you a homeless shelter / shelter for women and print you directions to it.

Or get this, flag down a cop car. Explain your situation, they can even drive you to a damn shelter or worst case scenario to a police station where you can sit down in safety and even nap.

Poor little miss princess can't survive for 1 night without fucking a stranger in a major city? Fuck off.

Its pissing me off that it is being presented like the alternative to fucking Mr.chinklover69 is walking the streets alone at night and huddling in alleyways to preserve body temperature.

Many people here are missing the point.

Was this guy a bastion of morality? No.

But this young girl, at ANY STEP in this seriously long chain of unfortunate events could have said "No", including when the friend invited her to Toronto.

You can tell by the storytelling that she regrets going along with every step, but still insists "she was betrayed", etc.

She learned a valuable lesson that ALL MEN learn. NEVER let your existence rely upon another person to provide. "She betrayed me" "I didn't have credit cards" "I found out my parents would be going on holiday"

The friend IS a backstabbing bitch for asking her to go, and backing out on her, but seriously....how many of us would just jump on a train with some random friend, with no backup plan and no money?

And how many of us could just use our bodies for currency in such a bind?

There are women EVERYWHERE who do this for a living. Who would have known how to handle this guy. She got herself into this by not planning/thinking, and each step..instead of planning/thinking, she went with the flow and got herself deeper into trouble.

While all around shitty behavior from all parties involved (man included), the girl is totally at fault. In her situation, the most obvious answer that doesn't involve whoring herself is to call her parents. A lot of people seem to completely disregard that as an option as if there parents will disown them or something. Sure it might be a huge deal but sure beats forever being a whore (that shit will scare you for life). I'm sure they could have provided credit card for a hotel room over the phone. Its just another attempt by her to avoid real responsibility from her social circle because no one will find out her whored herself unless she tells them. Too bad she didn't anticipate what physiological harm it will do to her. What people, girls especially, fail to realize that avoiding problems/responsibility instead of dealing with them head on will always cause more damage in the end.

SO two years ago I left town on a bus...then I traveled the country with no money, in fact the only money spent that was mine was the initial bus ticket.

I stayed in various towns, slept on the ground at truck stops, slept in the woods. Panhandled for food and money (PS people are very generous), when the car started running out of gas we'd stop at a gas station, hold a jug and ask for gas...90% of the time someone would just fill the car for us.

I did this as a giant 6'5 stinky bearded dirty man, not a cute little Asian woman.

Not one time did I have to fuck or suck anyone, nor steal anything...please stop trying to defend this ho's actions...maybe you should message her and tell her how you would never have treated her like that you fucking fags.

The fucked up thing is that this can still be construed as rape in front of a jury. In a justice system that heavily favors women, what do you think is the more likely outcome if this guy was found and made to stand trial? That he would be released and proclaimed innocent, or be declared guilty for 'manipulating' a young woman who was already in an altered state of mind (because of the massive stress she was suffering at the time - boo hoo)?

What got me about this story is how she totally fucking skewed it to her own perceptions. From the way she makes it sound her only choice was leave with this "cute" guy and sleep with him. WTF was she thinking? What probably happened was that he made conversation with her. He was there on business, so he was probably dressed well in a suit. On top of that he was most likely paying for all of her meals and drinks they had, and he was straight forward about wanting to be intimate with her.

And as a matter of fact, he probably didn't just say "I'll let you stay over, and you will repay me". He probably eased his way into to the topic with her being perceptive to it because he was "cute". On top of all of that shit she stole $450 from the dude. That's a shitload of cash. Not once did she say she was scared. Not one single time. She even "smiled" when he asked for breakfast, and he was probably thinking they had a fun night of sex. He even made sure to tell her if she was uncomfortable then she could leave.
