It also depends on how close you are to the dude.I give my best friend excellent advice (that he ignores and pays for doing so) .I give acquaintances generic BP "advice" because I see them as competition.I think "what would a PPD chick say to him" and give him just that .

So to conclude the quality of advice youll get depends on how good the guy himself is with women and how well he knows you.

Men don’t operate the same way as women. If we don’t want another man to interfere with our interests then we just don’t help them or tell them not to, we don’t intentionally give bad advice to sabotage. That has never even entered my head

As for advice men will genuinely try to help. The difference is the success of the man who’s giving advice. Most men aren’t good with women so most men give terrible advice.

But if you have a friend or relative who has success with women then that advice is gold - and FAR more valuable than anything a woman will give you.

On the other hand beta men give advice that’s often the same as the advice women give. Because that’s what they are believing

Yes, but with the caveat that only based off what they've experienced. A married man will mostly tell you useless betacuck bullshit because he doesn't know any better or he's trapped and he knows it, a man who's been divorced or a man who grew up among shitty women will tell you what's up.

I tell men to go to the gym, practice excellent hygiene, get a good haircut, a good wardrobe, flirt their ass off, teach them kino and all that.

I tell them that getting women is mostly a numbers game. You gotta approach a certain number of women to get a certain number of phone numbers. A certain number of phone numbers equals a certain number of dates. And dates equal fucking. I teach them that they are selling themselves and the experiences and emotions women will get from being with you.

Going to depend on the man. Most my friends are deep into the BP by default, and being they are LTR its not going to help much.

That being said one of my friends was having issues, I got a text from him 6 months after the convo. "You were right, she was cheating". I've tried giving him some more RP style advice (I think RP is like 70% correct), but he's still resistant, and still sticking with her despite the bedroom issues.

Women's advice are ideals that don't work, it's better to watch what they do.

Men give you advice according to what they saw women do. They go straight to the most significant point.

For example, when you're not super successful, you need to approach women, you need to multiply encounters, rejections, and experience. Women don't like that, they don't like perceiving women as replaceable people, they would tell you instead to find a girl and devote yourself to her. It just doesn't work like that.

Ideologically driven men do give bad advice to men though, no doubt about that. For example, religious men. Or men driven by financial interests do tend to try and scam any unsuspecting dudes (and women) to get by.

But on anonymous internet forum where the best thing you will ever receive is... upvotes on reddit? Then, no.

So far from what I have seen so far, its only women friendly online spaces that go heavy handed censorship on free discussions. Feminist subreddits ban you if you deviate from their established, accepted literature, FDS literally ban you if you are a man in their sub. Whats' the reason for this if not to control what you think and to limit exposure to blasphemous thoughts? the only close male friendly space similar to this is conservative spaces like /r/conservative or /r/the_donald, etc

Which is why feminists are bad when it comes to anything useful that isn't about crying "men bad, women oppressed :( woe is me... lets fuck things up!!1"

And why I find it such a schadenfreude to point and laugh at post wall women. They literally spent all their life on tutorial mode, and got dropped in the real world where men exist like cow dropping turd on the ground.

The "ask men" sub, the dating sub, and the relationships sub are full of "gems".

But a lot of those guys end up in the more serious subs and spout their "knowledge".

A big part of normal guy's advice is that he's dishonest on top of not being experienced.

That said, dudes always ask for cures when they should be asking about prevention

From my experience, people have to make their own beds. My friends almost universally got with women that were bad for their life, despite polite questions from me.

Meanwhile, tons of people told me not to marry my wife and here we are, happy, healthy, and prosperous.

Both men and women give bad and good advice about every topic under the sun. As a listener, you have to be aware of their biases and individuality. Counting either gender out could lead you to miss out on valuable advice.

No usually guys do at least try to give good advice to their bros. Competition isn't really an issue in those situations. Usually when I give a guy advice it's because he isn't escalating fast enough with a girl he is interested in or he isn't picking up on signals from a girl who is obviously interested in him.

There are thirsty beta dudes who will try to swoop in and steal a girl, but it's usually the most clueless and inept guys who do that stuff. They probably would intentionally give bad advice if they thought about it but usually they're too focused on the girl to strategerize like that.
