Summary: Be patient with the blue pillers. Offer them answers. If they go looking for the truth, they'll come to you. + my personal inner-monologue on the red pill transition.

Remember when Neo wakes up in the stasis pod in the machine world? The utter shock of realizing his entire life he had been lied to, only to be extorted of his natural resources?

Before "waking up", Neo denied the opportunity of the red pill, not once, but twice. Opting to go into the custody of the agents instead of climbing the skyscraper scaffolding to freedom. Deciding to get out of the car and walk home instead of trusting strangers promising him answers. (only to be persuaded not to by trinity).

I've seen a few posts on here of people attempting to alleviate their brethren of blue-pill behavior, and failing 100% of the time. But why?

I think it's a matter of choice. Morpheus and Trinity do a good job of easing the frightened blue-pill Neo onto the path of righteousness. Don't try and force the red pill down their throat, but open your palms and present both sides without bias. If they want to scuttle back to their girlfriend's warm lap, let them. But let them know there is another path. Don't tell them they're doing things wrong or they're beta, it will just drive them away from the ideology.

Two weeks ago I joined this forum, after getting dumped by my girlfriend. I was looking for 'solvemygirlproblems.com'(R.I.P) and hit a dead-end on this site.

I discovered the alpha/red-pill ideology in 2013, but only fully adopted it now. Until then I guess I was just reading the active ingredients and trying my best to 'act' like a red-piller.

Lesson Learned: The red-pill doesn't really 'change' anything. It's the mentality of accepting the pill and what it offers.

P.S I tried to follow the thread requirements, feel free to delete if it doesn't.
