I find it sad that young women are given this advice instead of being told that real love and attraction grow through shared experience and commitment, or that a marriage is about giving and not receiving.

I’m a woman but while I don’t consider myself a red pill woman (or honey badger or whatever they call themselves- way to much self hatred and manipulation going on over there!) I do believe that modern feminism has destroyed many women’s ability to have meaningful relationships. They’re told they deserve something rather than that they have equal responsibility to love and care for their partners and that they should be chasing a feeling rather putting in the work to create a stable happy relationship.

Added to this is the false sense of abundance created by dating aps giving women the idea that no matter how flawed they are, there is always someone better waiting in the wings for them so they leave men for superficial reasons. The fact that they often do get dates or short term relationships with other men through these apps reinforces this despite the fact that they’re not actually resulting in committed relationships.

It’s very sad social conditioning.

This is another version of Chasing Chad that's common among women that we allow. This version is not only Mr. Tall, Handsome, Charming, but he's "the one", the guy she is destined to meet; the guy she's been waiting for her whole life; her "soul mate".

It's important to understand that this isn't just any good-looking guy that she has to date and get to know first. Women who are looking for their "soul mate" or "the one" believe that the universe has chosen 1 man out of billions who is her perfect match. And her mission is to find him and reject everyone else except for the occasional fuckboy when she needs to get laid.

Now when you read her description of this unicorn, it would seem that any decent Joe could treat her the way she's describing, or meet most of her expectations. Guys in the friendzone are doing that now. But remember that women are guided by their feelings, so when it comes to "the one", those feelings should mirror the perfection she expects him to be, surpassing even the feelings she felt for Chads on the carousel.

He's the guy that the moment she lays eyes on him for the first time, the windows of heavens should open up, the doves descend upon him, and a choir of angels sing praises. She should feel extreme emotions of love, lust and wonder. He's the guy she read about in romance novels. Everything about him is perfect, he never makes mistakes or does anything wrong. Before names have been exchanged, she is supposed to have already fallen in love with him.

And if she doesn't feel anything on the level of sublime when they're together, then he's not "the one" and she shouldn't settle despite how courteous and supportive he already is to her. To those women I say the only one who's going to be descending from heaven is Jesus when he collects both them and their cats from the grave.
