So supposedly muscularity is a sign that you are healthy and you will pass on these genes to your offspring. Thats partially why a muscular body is attractive. But this seems a bit contradictory since everybody has the same potential to build muscle. A fat or scrawny male still is able to become muscular if he chooses to. The genes for a healthy/muscular physique are still going to be passed down despite what the parent's body looks like. The offspring will still need to go to the gym/eat correctly in order to become strong regardless of who its parents are. Maybe I'm looking at this wrong and the attraction towards muscular males is that they can better protect a woman's offspring? So is muscularity really an indicator of genetic fitness?
