Found the article, Sadly he was engaged so the cancer just quicken his long term suffering if he did marry.

Me and my dog are connected by the hip.

Though sometimes I had to travel for work and was away for a few days.

I take my girl(chihuahua) to my mom house and she loves my parents.
But 3 days past she stops eating, moves less, cry a bit and just become immobile sitting in the corner.

When I return it’s like 10 minutes of licking my facing and going crazy jumping up and down when I pick her back up

Now I work for a different company with no travel..

I was treated for cancer in 2012 and I would walk home from the hospital after chemo. The burn was horrible. When I arrived home, there was utter pain in my body and throbbing in my skull. My dogs would go up to the top of the pillows and literally, for hours, lick my scalp until I could sleep. My ex took everything from me, then cheated. My dogs never left my side.

Lost my dog a little while ago, she went through my teenage years. All the crap. Coming home from rough school, work, or dates to the thing that truly loved me unconditionally. Fellers, a dog will love you way more than any skirt can.

This actually brought some dust into my eyes.

I love dogs so much, seriously whenever I was going trough something rough in my life my dogs have been always there for me. I regret wasting so much time with my bitch ex GFs instead of being with my dogs.

When my old dog buddy died almost one year ago, 14 years old so he was with me trough so many things, I felt absolutely empty. Worse than after any breakup, like it's not even comparable. For three weeks I was just completely dead inside, it was like someone ripped out part of me and threw it away.

By the way during these three weeks I also found out my GF was cheating on me, so I broke up with her and almost got into the fight with her "new" bf. I was full of anger and sadness so I didn't give a shit what I was saying to her after I found out she was cheating, oh boy it was some nasty stuff but I don't feel sorry.

Anyway I decided to get a puppy after a month, named him the same name as my old dog and I finally felt happy once again. More happy than with any of my ex GFs. Just taking care of a little puppy after months of taking care of my old dog felt absolutely amazing and filled me with happiness and energy, it was like I started living again. Now he's one year old and he reminds me of my old dog so much, yet he's also different in many things. My old dog is burried on my garden so I'll never forget about him.

It's just incredible how strong bond we have with our dogs.

For me, it would be my kitty following right behind me. This is my third cat and this one needs me more than the other two ever did. Don't get me wrong. I loved the other two more than words can describe. This is my third rescue but to tell the truth each rescued me. I have been MGTOW for decades thanks to these buddies.
