I'm less invested in people now that I'm realizing people respond better to a lot of retarded alpha-caveman bullshit. It's helped friendships and relationships with women a lot. I'm starting to realize that everyone has a dark side to them and things like betrayal are just a part of life and I can learn how to protect myself from that without becoming guarded or closed-off.

We always want the good without the bad and tend to react negatively to the bad (hypergamy, when things don't go our way, the anger phase, etc.) But once you realize the bad is necessary so that the good can happen, you roll with it and use it to your advantage.

Man thats a solid post, and a great insight. You know, when I first started lifting I felt so self-conscious in the gym. Then one day a few months in it dawned on me that the 6am crowd were the same kinds of people I am: people who invest in themselves, prioritize their health and their fitness, who challenge and discipline themselves. It was a significant realization that I was surrounding myself with people who also care about themselves, and so I stopped feeling self-conscious and started enjoying being that environment. Thats what keeps me going back. Like you said, pushing through a tough workout feels amazing. Talk about feeling like a man.

Getting intimidated by looks is one of the big mistakes a man can do. It's just the packaging, and it shows truth in the saying that "No matter how hot a girl is, someone out there is sick of her shit". That guy that's sick of her shit is actually an Redpill Chad that doesn't value a woman on her looks.

Her looks are nothing but the packaging that make you interested on what is inside. Any girl can have a rocking body as long as she works out and keeps a proper diet, any girl can look atleast decent if she applies some make-up, and the other aspect of her face is nothing but luck in the genetic lottery. Sadly, her looks don't show whether she's a total keeper or a total bitch you should avoid. Nor does it dictate whether she's a beast in bed or a corpse.

Forget looks, they are only candy for your eye and to catch your interest.

P.S. Over the last 2 months, I did a fair amount of approaches (around 30) and I'm constantly self-improving. I identified my weak points (passing shit tests & escalating). Since you head success with getting a lay, I was just wondering what did you read.

Anyways good for you and great shit getting the hottie. Sounds like a bomb night. TRP really does ruin some things; when you realize how people actually respond to each other primitively it can make certain relationships feel stupid easy, which ruins the fun. It's almost manipulation because we know the "secrets" here.

I plan on entering law enforcement, and as an officer you use every advantage you have/can get in every situation. Otherwise you could die. There is no failure if you're a cop - your job is to take that 6'6, 250 lb MMA fighter and cuff him then bring him to the jail. You're gonna use every tool you got!

Similarly, the people here need to use every tool we've got in order to get ahead in a game/society that's stacked against us. Once again congrats on the night and on realizing women are just another source of dopamine

We don't "shit on self-improvement" or saying "self-improvement is for betas/pussies", we're criticizing the spreading idea of disconnecting self-improvement from its purpose.

OP, self-improvement got you the girl and the validation from girls. Notice how you came to an epiphany that's it's not important only after you got that validation. Hindsight is always 20/20.

If sex with a hottie is that insignificant, why don't you stop lifting, and stop gaming them so that you can save yourself plenty of time to do the things that are really important to you?

If self-improvement is good for its own sake, why don't you go improve your online gaming skills and masturbation techniques instead of the skills that just so happen to lead to the type of man that is attractive to women?

That's why we reject unguided "self improvement". Here on this sub, we don't say "improve yourself", we say "lift", or "become a social master", or "gain status", or "become a top 1% man because women are attracted to top 1% men".

Failure to see that distinction is the reason why we end up seeing those posts on here that are so blindly focused on self-improvement without purpose that they have no connection whatsoever with sexual strategy. Today I could write a post on "how to be be more productive at work" and it'd get a lot of traction on TRP because of all the fans of "self improvement for self improvement's sake", who at no point would stop to think "wait, what has this to do with hypergamy?"
