How is laughing and smiling bad? Of course that doesn't mean you should laugh like she tells the funniest jokes ever, but a chuckle or a smile should suffice. Also it is quite true if she laughs and smiles at your quick jokes and banter, plus if she touches you at that moment too, like your arm, she IS into you.

If anyone is interested in Body Language,there’s an amazing YouTube channel ‘Bombard’s Body Language’ that examines the body language of different people (e.g. Hillary Clinton, Trump, Elon Musk, etc). The videos also really help train you to identify and notice the body language of others.

The channel owner is also pretty conservative/traditional so a lot of redpillers will probably like her.

Girls are weaker, dumber and overall sit lower than us. Just straight up be yourself. I walk hunched and when approaching I just say random shit like "you see that car, did you that if you tune that it'll pack at least 350hp and an aftermarket exhaust will do wonders to the sound" they just look shocked and comment something dumb and that's it, now you're in.

If you're submissive to a woman you may keep a resting bitch face through a sea of jokes but you're still submissive, don't worry about these. I laugh like a retard even to lame jokes and my laugh makes people laugh because it's so high pitched it's stupid but girls will keep on craving that stupid laugh all day long.

Great book, I actually just finished it. Like everything, read with a grain of salt. The authors obviously think that body language is the end-all-be-all of communication, and they make some pretty big claims/leaps without much scientific basis.

That said, it's a great read and can provide many benefits outside of just the dating world.

For most of the spergs out there, smiling and nodding are waaaaaaay off, too frequent, and obviously done as some kind of supplication. For them, advice not to smile (which they'll only follow some of the time) makes sense, I guess.

Other than that, these points match both my experience and research.

Smiling and laughing is submissive?

Sounds pretty fucking stupid to me.

What's needed here is an example. If you're bubbly and over the top or if you're grimacing and stone walled, women will think you're either a fucking weirdo or not interested in any human interaction.

But, smiling and laughing the way normal people do it is absolutely a positive thing and no one should ever avoid doing them.

body language books are a form of hamstering. Any girl that is paying attention to you, should be a signal. my rule of thumb is that people act TOWARDs things that they value. Even if a girl is being bitchy, she is acting TOWARDS you. a smile, eye contact, a touch, getting closer all suggest some degree of interest. those books are only as good as you have mastered your own calibration and social skills.

For example, approaching from the back. I've deliberately done it. WHY? To create anxiety in a girl. WHY? Because part of developing attraction is to develop anxiety/excitement. Essentially, you AROUSE her, she might be initially pissed, but if you have good energy and portray confidence...it could work to spark attraction after you evade her initial bitchiness.

I've even abruptly nudge girls aside from behind as I walk into and up to the bar. I'm not shoving them but a quick hand to their waist as I slip by her..gets her attention, she might say 'hey..' or 'asshole' but I completely ignore and walk up to the bar to grab a drink. She'll be watching me or talking to her friends about me...its a gamble, but you got to create when you are out...so yeah read the body language books if you want but it's not formulaic. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Another example, is that a girl might be playing with her hair and glance at you. The explanation is that a guy she liked just walked by and looked at her. She got all exciting and started puffing her hair. She is glancing around to see if he is still around and at that moment you look at her. But you don't notice the other clues, that as she sees you approach, she tilt her body just a bit or redirects her feet towards the exit. She's not dumb.. she saw you look at her and she knows you are coming for her..but she is not interested in you. You get baffled when she shuts downs or walks away.

TIP: know the entire social context, be sly, follow her eyes a bit for a second, look at her feet, put it all together. You think this is over analyzing, no, it can be done and should be. Don't rely on simple body cues. There is a lot more going on.

Good edit about smiling / laughing, I agree. The point about humour during courtship is to make her laugh, so you definitely need a sense of humour if that's your main schtick. But being a grinning jackass is irritating. Let them try to make you laugh and they'll keep coming for more. Also, don't forget, temporary abandonment is good too. Drop her to go say hi to a guy friend or even better some other lady that you know, or be charming to that bartender too (not in an obvious pickup way, just friendly). Always be charming with people around you, never talk down to waiters or bartenders, it's petty and insecure and immature to put others down and thus beta. You have to nail the basics of interpersonal skills in all situations. If you can't navigate something so unthreatening as chatting up a female in a bar or elsewhere, that you don't know and will likely never see again, you are definitely low on the manliness scale.

Of course the best aphrodisiac is simply being not being hungry, it's like catnip to women. True indicator of SMV is other women banging you. When it rains it pours. The real trick is learning to act this way even when you are dry. The only secret is not to mind if you don't get laid, but act like you can and likely will.

Man screw all these alpha try hard body language books. Your goals is to always make it look as if the girl is gaming you, but you also want to calibrate because if you overdo it you will come off as a tryhard
