Many of us find ourselves in environments where we consider the uncomfortable nature of the things we grapple with as therapeutic rather than something to be shied away from, like lifting weights, making deals, and taking risks.

Its very typical that during concerts, parties, and clubs, you'll encounter loud environments. Its important that you know that, unlike the benefits of enduring other things, enduring loudness can damage your hearing quite easily. The kicker is that you wont notice these things until you turn 50 or 60. Unlike your muscles, your delicate hairs within your ear do not heal once damaged.

You wouldn't lift with bad form, and you don't stare into the sun for ten minutes each day. I encourage you all to do your own research and not take my word for it - loud environments, especially supplemented by our near constant usage of headphones will make everything sound muffled in your later years.

I suggest looking into hearing plugs on whatever your favorite commerce store is - there are special ones that are practically invisible when introduced to the ear if you are worried about looking silly.
