A few years ago I was seeing a therapist. I had been homeless for almost a year and had just finally found a place to live. I was had also just finished grad school, earning a masters degree while living on the street. My therapist was a woman pushing 60, and in her young days, you can tell she was a hot piece of ass.

She was a woman who had been divorced, had adult children and was now living alone. I had been suffering for years with anxiety and PTSD, and then I discovered MGTOW. Finally everything made sense. I focused on going my own way, and my life began to come back together, I got off the street, I finished grad degree and I was working towards a Doctorate.

I had been seeing this woman for therapy for months and was extremely depressed and finally after finding MGTOW and accepting the MGTOW philosophy, I felt like a new man. I went to an appointment with her one day, and told her that I was feeling great, she initially was happy to hear it, and then I told her about the MGTOW philosophy and her smile disappeared, and she went silent.

I told her that I had made up my resolve to not marry, have children and instead focus on myself and my own happiness. She calming looked at me with a cunning look, and said that she didn't want me to do that, and firmly that it was not a good idea, and that she wanted me to be a nice man, and get married. I said to her that what she was saying didn't make sense. She had told me that I would have to find my own reason to live (after struggling with suicidal thoughts, and depression) and I had finally found my answer that brought me peace for a long time and here she was trying to snatch it away.

The lessons I learned in MGTOW kicked in, and I firmly asked her, what kind of guys does she like. She looked at me and said, that she would be honest. She admitted that when she was younger she liked bad, and rough guys, but now she wants a nice man (as she is pushing 60). I then asked her, how old she was when she started liking nice guys, she responded around 40. At this point I immediately told her that I was thanking her for her service, but that I would no longer require them. She followed me almost out of the building, trying to get me to reconsider but I wouldn't.

I saw through her bullshit and mindgames. I saw through the manipulation and the fact that she was trying to condition me to be a beta male. A man who had not learned the MGTOW philosophy could have easily been fooled and brain washed further.

So do you agree, that therapy is not for me?
